Wait so a career high pay day when? After what fight and vs who? Surely there is some evidence on the internet that confirms this.

So Arum offered a career high payday to fight who?

this is from the article your boy posted......which clearly states that Arum said

when Arum was only willing to guarantee $7 million.

So if Arum really wanted to make the Margarito fight he would have offered the extra dough.

Floyd turns around leaves Arum then Makes over 40 Million fighting Baldo, DLH & Hatton...

    All without Bob Arum....

:patsch Another convenient ploy to not face Margarito. I guess it's impossible to fathom facing Margarito, THEN talking about the purse for those fights after? gullible ****...

While watching the first Margarito-Cotto fight live I was legitimately shocked by the punches Margarito was walking through. Even after the loss to Mosley I thought he was just too large for Pacquiao, but he was so sluggish it just became a pretty remarkable disadvantage. Bradley on the other surprised me just because he didn't succumb once Manny got his momentum going and actually attempted to engage in exchanges for the most part. Although its not very substantial Bradley still managed to throw more total punches when things were not looking good. Margarito hasn't really shown the same confidence, durability, or punch output that he did against Cotto. Hes been throwing fewer and fewer punches and his output drops off dramatically when hes behind. Given the circumstances of that fight (and the fact that his previous performances didn't impress me all that much) its hard to nail down any point as his absolute "prime." Even with his recent performance Bradley has a strange lack of real killer instinct that I can't help but doubt him.

And I suppose you never heard of pricing yourself out of a fight.

Instead of fighting Margarito (who wasnt popular at the time) Mayweather instead opting for free agency by buying Arum out of their deal for $750,000.

Arum agreed that the split with Mayweather was not on bad terms like their brief breakup last year. In fact, Arum said, "We intend to be back together. Everything with this was honorable and good. I had offered him numbers [for a multi-fight contract extension] that were livable

He was entitled to buy me out, and he did. We decided this was the best way to handle it. He is a free agent. We have agreed to work with each other [in the future]."

the "expectations" that Arum speaks of was getting 10 Million for Baldomir, 20 for DLH and over 10 million vs Hatton.

Arum was trying to Low Ball Mayweather like he has been doing Manny.

Lets just call it what it is, Floyd doesnt take a fight unless he knows he is going to win, He ducked Pac and Margarito.

Just because you demand more and price yourself out doesnt mean your willing to take the fight, sometimes fighters throw numbers out there knowing it wont get them the fight..... thats what happened here with Floyd.

How? He got more money fighting Baldo and he got a mega payday from Oscar. If anything he didn't ask for enough.:deal Arum undervalued PBF, didn't realize he had the cash cow in boxing, and lost out bigtime and is still bitter to this day.

Pricing yourself out of a fight? This is the same guy who said Mayweather also asked for $20 million to fight De La Hoya, a fight Arum said he wasn't interested in participating in.

"That's not in the cards," Arum said.

Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road."

If it wasnt there then how did Mayweather get it 1 year after leaving Arum?:patsch

Arum was just trying to get Floyd trapped in a slave contract which is why THERE IS NO EVIDENCE THAT SUPPORTS YOUR THEORY THAT ARUM TRIED TO MAKE THE FIGHT WHILE FLOYD WAS WITH TOP RANK UNTIL AFTER MAYWEATHER LEFT......

    jeezus :patsch
