No, you can always negotiate those things. NO ONE would force Floyd to sign an extension if he didn't want to.

I mean, imagine if Floyd, today said, I'll fight Pac, but ONLY if I am guranteed $50 mill to face Martinez and Golovkin. Does that make sense?

With a Shrewd business man like Arum involved, securing guarantees is the smartest thing to do.:good

Arum was already lying by saying $20 Million for a fight with DLH "wasnt :lol:there"...then magically after Floyd leaves, in May 2007 on HBO PPV PBF vs DLH became the biggest-selling non-heavyweight title fight, with a little more than 2.5 million buyers. The fight itself generated roughly $134.4 million dollars in domestic PPV revenue, making it the most lucrative prizefight of all time.

And your dumb ass keeps defending a guy who is quoted as saying ""He wants $20 million for the De La Hoya fight? It's not there. Sometimes, my man, you gotta know when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em. We'll talk about things down the road.""

Arum must be a terrible poker player

Why waste your time? You already know that there's always an "excuse" on why FLoyd never fought certain fighters. It's strange that he always has this problem. Why waste time going back and forth as if anybody here was in the negotiations. Going to google and posting articles doesn't mean it's 100% proof. For both sides. Fact is, the fight never happened. What a surprise!

Good idea. the gaul of dunks trying to say Arum never offered the fight before 2006 shows what a johnny-come-lately he is. If some of these ****s weren't into boxing then, they really should not post on the topic.

The Margarito that Cotto faced yes he would have had problems with him....
The man went through hell with Miguel Cotto who was shot to **** Margarito walked through everything Miguel had that night and made him quit and that was a peak prime Cotto.

I do not see this as an easy fight for Floyd you can sit here and claim he is tailor made for him all you want but that doesnt make what you say to be the truth.

    Floyd ducked the man period

    I just stated facts,

In front of Mosley, Mayweather is like "Im a gorilla im a dog ima dog ima gorilla"
In front of Guerror, Mayweather is like "I dont know who you beat or who you lost to., how to YOU want it"

In front of Ortiz, Mayweather is like "Im gona kill this kid"

In front of Margarito he is like "Not yet"

These are just facts, whether you think Floyd was scared or not thats opinion, but the fact is Floyd was on his best behaviour when he was making eye contact with Margarito.

So you think Bradley has Whitaker-esque defense now? He looked like a bobble-head against a B level fighter with far less punch-activity than what Margo had.
