    60/40 Pascal, still, with a reasonable sample size.

    I wonder how the bookies are going to be pricing this.

    Do you not realize Pascal came to Canada as a child, while Bute just gained his citizenship last year?

    The main idea is that these 2 guys will get lots of money and I'm pretty sure that they will have a rematch too.

    I also see Bute fighting against Hopkins before the Pascal rematch. Froch rematch will have to wait. :yep

    winning or losing, both will have a good payday.

    Pascal insisted on coming out second or no deal. He got what he wanted. Pascal will be treated as the local fighter, not Bute.:good

    A lot of people favoring J to the P. Just don't forget that the majority of esb members thought Bute will beat Froch , and look how that fight ended. Great fight for all the boxing fans , especially for the canadian an the romanian ones. Bute UD is my pick.

    not so sure about that, Badlok. Bute is probably still more popular but not by more than, say, 65/35, is he?:hey

    What badlok said is that the crowd, yesterday at the 1st face off before the ceremonial puck drop, was all for Bute. And it sure looked and sounded like it.

    I agree though that during the fight, it should look like 65/35 for Bute but it's still a wide enough margin, popularity-wise.

    Bute may have a little better boxing I.Q. than Pascal, (Froch fight aside) and so with the right strategy he might be able to out-box/out-smart Jean to a decision win.

    But it seems like bad timing for Bute to be moving up in weight to face a fast strong banger at 175 after looking so shabby in his last two fights. (or maybe the extra weight will help him?)

    Pascal might be learning some new tricks at the Mayweather gym too... so he might come in a little smarter this time... and hopefully improve his stamina as well.

    Tough call, but I gotta go with Pascal by TKO

    Bute said this week he didn't think Pascal could last 12 rounds with him. I'm all for him being confident, but overconfidence is what led to him being destroyed against Froch and he didn't exactly shine against Grachev. Bute sometimes appears too happy with himself, like in this video. I wish he was a bit less sure of himself.
