Huh? I think you missed the part where -

1. Ward defeating both of the "Co-Favorites" of the tournament, Abraham and Kessler.
2. And that he was the tournament champion.
3. AND that he was the ONLY ONE of the 4 who entered with a zero loss and still didn't lose.

Some more factual data that you like to keep on skewing up to fit your agenda...

Ward's mandatory tournament line-up....
Stage 1 - Mikkel Kessler (matched up vs co-favorite from the start)
Stage 2 - Jermain Taylor
Stage 3 - Andre Dirrell
This was set in stone w/ the premise that the fighters continued on in the tournament...

1. Jermain Taylor decided to drop out of the tournament after getting KO'd at the very end vs AA. Allan Green was a tournament alternate and a respected up-and-coming fringe contender at the time. Ward himself was only considered an unproven "contender" at the time, before entering the tournament.

2. Mebbe you can actually blame AA for clocking Dirrell while he was down in their fight. Dirrell was not able to continue on to his Stage 3 fight vs Ward. No more alternates i guess, but the fact of the matter is that by Stage 2, Ward was the only consecutive winner (winning both his Stage 1 and 2 fights) and had racked up 4 cumulative points through the wins. He was given a "Bye" for all practical purposes while the others continued on Stage 3 to garnish more points for the semi-finalist bracketing spots. Still, Ward took on Sako Bika, outside of the tournament, as a fill-in fight for the loss of the Stage 3 fight. He was a previous contender in the mid 2000's and had fought vs Calzaghe and Bute. The late 2000's version was a better and vamped up version and gave Ward his toughest fight to date. I still think Bika is currently under-rated greatly.

3. Authur Abraham was the other Co-Favorite at the time, and by Stage 2, had 3 points, the 2nd highest. It was enough to get into the Semi-Finals where he was matched up against Ward. AA ended up being more of a hype-job, as both Froch, Ward, and Dirrell was able to outbox him. But still in a strong division, he's good enough to be a fringe contender.

To wrap it all up, in the Super 6 Classic timeframe (2 1/4 years), Andre Ward successfully beat Mikkel Kessler, Allan Green, Sakio Bika, Authur Abraham, and Carl Froch all in that order. I would call this Badass....

SIGH, Bute should NOT fight Ward, ever. Let that annoying princess earn his 500k-800k a fight infront of 4 000 people. Ward needs to fight Mayweather at 160, Sergio at 168, Tyson at 168, Calzaghe at 175 and all his other "lets pretend i'll fight them" opponents.

To all the idiots saying Bute doesnt deserve to fight the most boring fighter ever, you're all morons. Ward wanted to fight Pavlik...drunk ass irrelevant Pavlik.

Ward himself said the winner of the S6 HAD to fight Bute. Bute went on and said he'll fight where ever Ward wants. Quickly (one week later from his previous statement), the Sand man changed his script 100%, saying Bute needs to prove himself.

All you morons who are so quick to judge fighters after a loss forget some details. Bute chose to go to England just to make the Froch fight. Bute took less money to make the Froch fight. After the fight, Bute didnt make up any excuses, even though there were lots of problems during the camp like struggling to make weight or not eating and sleeping for 30+ hours before the fight. Lets also not forget he looked like a skeleton at the weight in and he looked like he had trouble standing on his own feet.

But sure, Bute is a glass jaw and a disgrace cause he didnt even fell after being bombed with lots of punches straight to the jaw and face.

Lets not forget he went for a Kessler fight and Kessler too decided he didnt want none of that.

So yea, Bute is whats wrong with this sport. Ward deserves every praise he gets, he's a real warrior and makes all his 50 fans proud to challenge Mayweather at onehundred****ingsixty lb. You morons deserve him.

We all can agree Mayweather is better than Dawson right? Dont we also remember Dawson requested to move down and Ward outboxed/whopped him he didn't need size to determine the outcome he beat him on skill. Ward is just a much better fighter than Dawson.
