Hey. This is kinda fun.....I lean towards JJ but seriously I have about 4 scenarios going on with both winning/losing....

    I think Walcott.
Too tricky in there and will get Floyd with one of his rights.
I see everytime Floyd starts to come forward or try his Gazelle punch Walcott will just move back and wait for the right time to send home a right hand.

I can actually see JJ nailing Floyd with his Left Hook...Even if it has Half the Quality of the one that Nailed Ezz Charles, it should account for Floyd, perhaps with a bit of Follow-up Icing ...

Tough fight to call. Floyd was able to handle to Moore albeit an old one. I could see the fight going either way. I'd have to lean toward Walcott.

Nah, can't see it. Patterson by left hook sparkage.

I'm taking Floyd's prime when he clearly beat Quarry and Ellis. Not when he wasn't very strong and tended to get knocked about a bit.

    Walcott.

I don't believe Patterson could have beaten anyone of championship caliber. He's very overrated on this forum.

    Good fight.
    Hard call.
Walcot ko by patient manoeuvring and left hook and and over the top counters.

Walcott might cold-**** Floyd for sure but it's a might only. He wasn't a big KO artist really despite that savage KO of Ez. Charles(x3) Layne, Ray, Maxim, Ten Hoff, Louis, Bivins, Baksi, Oma-the list goes on of good fighters that stayed the distance with Jersey Joe. And Patterson was not as easily ko'd as often claimed. Liston and Johansson brutalised him but a slew of other good heavyweights did not, Quarry, Ellis, Cooper, Johansson(Twice) Ali, Bonavena, Chuvalo, Machen, Moore and so on. I think this goes to points but either could win by Ko. Intriguing match-up, to-night I think JJW on points.

I remember Walcott getting hurt by a left hook by Ezzard in their 2nd fight. Floyd wastes him.

It is a toss up though. Walcott, not usually a banger, has the dig to hurt Floyd. I just think Patterson was the better fighter, styles aside. Walcott was certainly a beautiful fighter to watch though.
