No, not at all. Just look who he was looking amazing against.

I still think anyone who thinks Lopez is as gold, great or whatever than Chang is off their head. No I'm not biased, crazy or wrecked, I genuinely think it's clear to see who was better, whose division was stronger, etc etc

The '0' doesn't do much for me.

    Thomas Hearns UD12 Virgil Hill

    HEARNS:3,6,8,9,11,12
    HILL:1,4*,5*,7,10,
    EVEN:2,

So I had this 6-5-1 to Hearns, god-damn ****ing close fight round by round. Hearns was more damaging generally, Hill was doing a sort of crap impression of shoe-shining whenever he hit a real ascendancy. Still, it was a mostly one-handed clinic from Hill who needed just a little bit more something to really swing it, and i thought, until Hearns blasted him with a right hand on 90 seconds, that Hill was actually going to nick this on my card.

I'd never scored it before and seen it only once with the sound off for no better reason than I really couldn't stomach Ferdie Pachecho and I really didn't feel that it was anything like this close rbr. Loads of close rounds. Hearns is notably slower and less maneuverable than he was against Denis.

Absorbing contest. If Hill had a right hand he would have won.

Lopez was always troubled by adversity. I think Lopez looks better than Chang - a better puncher. But I dunno man, I think that's a fighter that had his own way too long.

I have no problem with Chang over Lopez. But the distance between them is small not huge.

True. He is very pleasing to the eye.

I think Lopez vs Chang would probably end up in a Duran vs Leonard 1\Jofre vs Harada sort of fight.Competitive potential classic, but Lopez would end up the one being a bit befuddled and frustrated, trying too long to get the fight textbook polite and into his preferred outside\mid-range punching zone while not being able to dictate exchanges like he usually could.

It's one of the best modern great little men "what if's" imo.

Lopez was very mechanical in his style despite undeniably being great to watch for punching delivery(as good looking and efficient as anybody for mid-range\outside stuff really).as an all-round boxer-puncher viewing experience i'd rather watch Moore, Charles, Robinson and a plenty of greats and very good's that were a bit more smooth and supple upperbody movement wise, intuitive and willing to take risks and change up their punching form more(ie use looping punches, unorthodox angles etc as well as textbook stuff) even if it results in them not always as perfectly regal looking as lopez.

Ricardo is crack for punching form junkies and puritans like Mcgrain though.:yep

obviously either Carbajal or Gamez >>>>> both d serial hometown fighter and d serial bumbeater .
I take Melchor Cob Castro over them in terms of p4p "gr8ness" at least , just far more proven . Who could guarantee that Lopez or Arbachakov would not have been KOd if they fought far from home suffering from a jet lag and who knows what more and against a good fighter at that ?

No it's not just you, lora and I have ripped weight-drained Pone many times for not showing up there.
