Angel Heredia: "If Pac Did Arizas Training, He Would Have Peformed At A Higher Level"

Actually, this was the slowest JMM Ive seen and He still wiped Pac out. Pac is dumb man. He relied too much on his athleticsm.

 

As a Pacfan, there was nothing Ariza could have done for him to avoid that right. Either Roach and/or Pacquaio was to blame for not seeing it coming.

 

Heredia is correct and this was a point i made when i predicted Marquez to stop Pacquiao.

 

manny looked better than he's looked in years during the 4rth fight.

 

Pacquiao looked the best he had for years - his footwork and movement was excellent, Marquez was not hitting him consistently. PAcquiao's mistake was all mental, not physical - he smelled blood, was so desperate to KO Marquez and in such a hurry that he got ridiculously reckless, messed up and handed his chin over.

Great counter but come on, Pacquiao's handed his chin to Marquez.

Up until then PAcquiao looked strong and the momentum was all with him since round 3 - he lost that fight because he failed to read the situation

 

It's really hard to say, but I do wonder if incorrect conditioning work contributed to the punches having more of an effect on him. There's a lot to be said for strengthening the neck and leg muscles having a positive effect on punch resistance.

 

A bitter problem was no doubt Pac's passion for and dedication to the sport.

hold your horses there brutha. juan's hayemaker was there since the first pac-jmm war. it was just juan mastered it and made this technique more powerful by training his body how to punch that kryptonite at its deadliest point.

and pacquiao never ever corrected this flaw. manny's footwork is not a concern here. even if manny has his primest, bestest, testest whatever footwork in the 4th, charging juan like that would be a suicide. If I was Pacquiao, I could have been defensive on the fight specially when I see Juan's Hulk body in the days leading to the fight. that hulk body was made to kill him FFS.

 

spot on. that was what juan was waiting for. all juan needed to do is pull his **** up and prepare to counter that reckless pacquiao strut. he already saw that pac kill on the first round of the first fight, and he cant fell for that. that was why he never fell for that move on the next 3 fights.

 

Offensively, yes. Defensively he was horrible. And truth be told he didn't look that good offensively. He was just aggressive.

 

No amount of training can reverse age / wear and tear.

 

Of course, as soon as Pac stopped doing Ariza's training he got progressively worse each fight. Mosley was a poor showing then getting beaten by Bradley and Marquez.
It's not PEDs, it's called strength and conditioning and very few do it or get it right. Pac isn't a smart guy, he still likes old school morning runs and sit ups, he needed a guy like Ariza to do the thinking for him and tell him what to do.

 

Yeah. ......a round that Juan was losing before scoring the knock down. Of course it was a 10/8 round but. He definitely was losing that round.
