You make great points especially when you mention competition. ****, PBF would never have fought Tito, Whitaker did when he was over the hill and Tito was primed ! Thats why we have to laugh when they say,PBF wins a war of attrition.?? Since when did He ever sign to fight anyone at 147 who was primed to beat him ? Please, hope they don`t say an old,semi-retired Osacr, or even worse a shopworn Cotto...

 

One thing for sure, Floyd is still an elite fighter at the age of 36. Sweet Pea was washed up at that age.

When Floyd was at an ideal weight, he fought everyone that wanted it. He became more selective as he moved up... and he could afford to.

Pea never had Floyd's earning potential and had to take tough fights to get paid. I don't remember a single thing he's ever said or done outside of the ring.

He fought Oscar because it was big money and Tito when he was broke and coked up, looking for one big final score. Floyd talked about fighting Oscar since he was at 130. Wonder why.
