Wrong again.. Hopkins boxed all through his childhood in Philly.. Had nearly 100 amateur fights only losing like 4 of them, he was a very successful amateur. You really know **** all.
Jim (and Frank ******) "fixed-it" for Calslappy to avoid fighters who were ranked in the Ring Top 10 (check his record if you think i'm lying) and fight unranked bums as WBO mandatories. One of them was going to be a guy called Darrin Morris.......despite the fact that he had already died..........TWO YEARS previously!!! I ain't bullshitting either......Google "Darrin Morris" and "Joe Calzaghe" Joe Calzaghe = Biggest FAKE in boxing history
FLOYD MAYWEATHER SR April 24, 2008 He ain't even do ****; he's the worst fighter I've ever saw in my life. I wouldn't pay $5 to see him. I'm serious man, this guy cannot fight. He throws punches like a wash woman. Even John "The Beast" Mugabi would've beat the **** out of him. "Caveman" Lee would've tore his ass up. They don't even have a name for the punches he throws Like I said with that Calzaghe guy, to me, that guy is garbage. I want you to make that clear, that man is garbage
WTF?? The Toney who fought Roy was NOT " green " dude.. Only version of Toney that Calzaghe can beat is the one in the mid to late 90s when he was bored and out of shape.. WHen did u get into boxing.. like a year ago?
When are threads like About Joe going to be retired to the classics forum? I am so tired of this endless drivel. i rank Joe as the Best SMW ever (until Ward passed him) based primarily on longevity. This was not a great achievement because the SMW division was the newest division on the block and he held the worthless WBO belt (at the time it was equivalent to the IBO belt today). He MIGHT make my top 100 ATG but when ya get over 50 i lose interest. Put Joe in the Classic section (Soon, I hope, RJJ and BHOP will join him)
Beautiful thread saluting an ATG Boxing science proves how most roads lead to Calzaghe Calzaghes legacy is so great, that most of the so called top fighters around his division and even today have a loss that dates back to the name Calzaghe. If you compiled that list by yourself, then I salute you. While the logic doesn't follow, you dedication to Calzaghe is admirable.
Its facts. These so called top fighters all have a link back to Calzaghe. Im glad you appreciated it, and dont forget to watch the fantastic Youtube link
