Is bc Floyd is at even more of a disadvantage going up 13lbs than Ward 8lbs down. I thought Ward is a man with integrity.

If Bute made that offer, I promise you many would have heard about it. The fact that only three Bute fans testify to this spells bull**** to me.

Bute beat opponents "they" struggled with?, please mention one.

With options like rematches with Kessler and Froch available, he does have options to make more money. Fact is, Bute had no options which is why packed his belt and made the flight to England to fight someone Ward recently beat.

    - Bute brings more money to the table?
    - Ward holds two legitimate world titles and the lineal title.
    - Highest rated or not, if he was a somebody in the division he wouldn't have packed his legitimate title and made the flight to England for some much needed recognition.

Kelly Pavlik made more sense because Bute was already topping the lists for "KO of the year" against Froch. I think it's fair to say you're the last to label anyone stupid or smart for that matter. The fact that you're in the ******ed semi-extinct list of "Ward ducked Bute" fans says enough about you.

He made the decision to fight someone Ward already beat. No one forced him to take that fight and travel for it.

And he could've had the rematch in Montreal all signed and good to go.
I quite like Bute but this thread has some of the stuff that led to a minority of his fans causing many to assume they're all stupid, which is far from the case.

All this talk of an offer to Ward is purely speculation, and as I'm sick of repeating,Bute had every right to demand an equal split at the time which defeated the whole purpose of Ward's plan for his first fight after Froch.

The way some are grasping onto this as some sort of comfort blanket is reminiscent of the complaints about JMM stepping on Pacquaio's toes.

Give it up and move on guys. He's still a top 5 SMW,which is no mean feat.

Marquez right there went up two weight divsions, the same thats being asked of Mayweather to fight Ward.
Unlike Marquez who fought Mayweather at his weight of 147 lbs, Wards being reasonable and coming down 8 lbs and possibly weakening himself like Dawson did coming down to fight Ward.

Why do you think Mayweather wont fight a weakened Ward?

Marquez went up two weight divisions Mayweather came down none.

Mayweather is being asked to go up two weight divisions but in turn Ward unlike Mayweather is willing ot sacrifice to make weight and come down a divsion.

You dont think Mayweather has the "skills" to pay the bills against Ward?
I thought Mayweather was so skilled that he could handle a situation with less of a degree of difficulty than Marquez found himself vs Mayweather?

    Why is Mayweather scared?

Actually no! Marquez made a career fighting as a featherweight, but throughout his stay there he fought many times under the featherweight limit.
When Marquez was campaigning trying to land a fight with MAB when MAB was entering 126 lbs, the excuse by MAB to duck Marquez was "I'm not a featherweight, I think I may go back down to 122 lbs"......
......Marquez' response was, "I can make 122 lbs no problem, we can make the fight at 122 lbs."

So not they did not start out at the same weight.

Mayweather started his career at 130 lbs and often even during his stay there fought over the weight limit, which shows he was'nt making 130 lbs that easy.

They are more than a weight class apart in natural size.
Mayweather's tall and lean body can handle the weight better no doubt about it.

Mayweather is lean and trim at 147 lbs, he'd look great at 154 lbs as well.

160 lbs?????? Maybe Mayweather might look like Marquez did vs him????
    :lol::lol::lol::yep

No balls, no Ward fight!!!! Not even a touch of Cinnamon!!!!:yep
