Dont have any excuse if Rigo KTFO Donaire. Anything can happen inside the ring.

 

I see Rigo getting KO'd between the 8th and 10th but what will surprise people is how ineffective Donaire will make him look. I think Donaire will totally freeze him up.

 

Well he "can" KO Rigo early but...

Rigo never opens up, he waits for the other guy to punch to punch, so when an opponent isnt punching Rigo isnt punching

I think if nobody gets caught this fight might turn into a pose fest

It will be interesting as both men will have a threat of a KO the whole fight as both men have plenty of power particularly in the lefts

Rigo doesnt use his right much beyond a rangefinder and Donaire's left hook has been his showcase

i dont expect this to be a good fight

 

Donaire wouldn't unless Rigo abandons his D too much early which I cant see happening. I can see Donaire frustrated but clealry winning then hurting Rigo causing him to run and shell up the rest to the fight until being stopped between rds 6-8. Hoping it will be a fast chessmatch with many shaky moments.

I really hope I'm wrong and this fight doesn't turn out to be a snoozer. HBO's got some good momentum right now with Bradley-Provodnikov unexpectedly being a FOTY candidate, the upcoming inevitable mayhem in Rios-Alvardo II, and the last thing they need is to disrupt this flow of great fights by airing a 12 round feint fest.
