Floyd would had said he was bored with boxing and retired like he did a few years ago. So the chances of those fights happening would be slim to none.

A roided up Pacquiao would have been hell for anyone

A prime Margarito would have given Floyd plenty of Castillo flashbacks

Without stating people others already have, Simon Brown would've gave
    Floyd all he wanted.

I don't think anyone can make a case that Paul Williams wouldn't be the most difficult for Floyd really. I mean lets run this down:

He is a southpaw - The shoulder roll isn't very effective vs Southpaws. Floyd has always fought much more aggressive vs lefties, read on to find out why that wouldn't work.

He is very tall - PWill Having a 6 inch height advantage would make Floyd have to reach to hit him, anyone who watches the Klitschkos especially Wlad sees how you can use your height to make yourself ridiculously hard to hit.

He has a fantastic reach 7 inch reach advantage to PWill. Floyd likes to stay outside and pick his opportunities, Paul Williams could make that impossible with his reach, and could force Floyd to constantly have to be the aggressor.

He has a SOLID CHIN The shot Martinez landed was perfect, and would knock out just about anybody. Paul Williams has a VERY sturdy chin, he took bomb after bomb against Lara and wasn't phased. The man's chin was very very good, and he wasn't afraid to get hit.

He is a pressure fighter Castillo showed how much problems a swarmer can give Floyd. Williams is a pressure fighter, and his height would be a huge advantage here too. As Emmanuel Steward said during Margarito-Cotto 1, Pressure from a taller fighter is much different, and harder to defend against.

GREAT work rate Williams could easily throw 100+ punches a round, he had the stamina and work rate to keep Floyd constantly on the defensive.

right...i agree...problem is...P. Willie ALWAYS gives up his height...Floyd wouldnt have to work to hard and would eat him up inside and that long reach plays against him inside....but it still would be a great scrap.

I think everyone pretty much has some great names the only one i just dont see given him any issues is Margarito....absolutely none.

Prime Oscar - more accurate than last fight, would flood Mayweather with more punches, would utilise his jab more - points victory for Oscar although Mayweather would look impressive on compubox
Similar could be said for Quartey, although that is probably more 50:50.

Whitaker - Definite victory for Whitaker, Whitaker was no KO king but he was still very tactical fighting on the offense

    Forrest - close call
    Prime Casamayor - close call
    Williams - close call

It is going to take someone who is does not fight Mayweather rhythm. Mayweather has a great style of timing someone's rhythm and learned to adjust to it. Someone like Margarito would be hard for Mayweather to time since he is busy and strong. Mosley and Oscar would be counterpunched. Cotto would be beaten. I could say Oscar, but Oscar never did great against the cream of the crop guys like he should have for me to say he could beat Floyd for sure. Another guy maybe is Williams. The big guys who could change the gameplan of Floyd beat him, not the guys who are going to fight his same counterpunching style.

McGirt ?? never.. He is the most overrated guy in the 1990s. He lost to all the good fighters and then said his rotator cuff hurt. Forrest? Maybe, but Floyd is better defensively than Forrest and would not be hit with that right, but I give him a shot but not a great one. Tszyu? No way.. Floyd outboxes him over 12 rounds. Mosley? Floyd is just a little quicker and fights his fight.
Quartey? another overated fighter. Very strong and good jab, but Floyd would control the action with his speed and would have to move a little with Ike and not get stuck on the ropes since Ike is strong. Whitaker yes.. He could beat Floyd with speed and controlling the fight. Oscar? pickem. I am not sure I see Oscar beating Floyd. He would have to with his jab, since that is what he has over Floyd. Is that enough? I always thought a guy who beats Floyd would have to have a good right hand.

    Winky Wright,

In order to beat Mayweather you have to take away his offense first and score on him by picking spots. You don't beat Mayweather by overwhelming him with offense.

Winky would have made it hard for Mayweather to score on him and would have gave Mayweather a lot of problems with his jab.

The fight would be a fun one for fans and tough one for Mayweather, but Williams flaws would expose him.

Inaccurate work rate is a dream for a counter puncher. He doesn't fight tall or long which makes his recovery time for when he throws his punches to long for a guy like Mayweather who has excellent timing already.

He would eat a lot and I mean a lot of clean counter punches and look foolish at times. So it matter how much he is actually able to land on Mayweather.
