Your looking at it from a different perspective mate. Sure your going to get arseholes that want to slag you off at every turn but for most boxing fans its great to have pro boxers on this forum to share an insight.

dannyboy, i love it, the things ive seen in boxing i could write a book already, heres 1 for you, couple of year ago i hit one good shot right on the chin, he sagged like a wet rag and slid down the corner post, ref jumped in stopped it. i was in the corner taking gloves off, the ref came over and said in my ear, "do you think youve won" i said "to right i have" he said,"well im disqualifying you you gypsy basterd" i said, "what the **** for" he said" cos i say so". he done just that, and got me a ban for 3 month for swearing at him. What you see on the outside can be an illusion mate, they fill the cards in before the fights.:good

 

That's a bit harsh, you should have lumped him one!! I dont doubt for one second that there are crooked people involved in the sport, the referee probably had a bet on you to lose!!

I hear the travellers are also big gamblers. I bet there are a few that have made a few quid from Tyson so far. (im ashamed to say i backed Chisora over Tyson!!)

 

my family won 18, 000, on tyson that night, we had a big win at 6/4 on darren hamilton over steve williams, won 4500£ now that hamilton can box, we know proper skill when we see it.:good
