I think that the first fight gave Marquez experience against Mayweather and he might do better a second time facing him. Marquez seems to have been getting better with each Pacquiao fight for example leading up to the knockout.

Do you think with a rematch, Marquez would stand a better chance against Mayweather?

He briefly mentioned how he doesn't want to rematch Floyd after he KTFO manny. His focus is the top rank stable: Bradley, Rios, and pacquiao, in that order imo.

I dont like to ever say fight 1 is end all for any series but i just dont see what Marquez does in a rematch

i mean maybe if Floyd slows down just enough where Marquez can land but i dont see much happening

Marquez gets better in each PACQUIAO when he fights PACQUIAO
Marquez would lose all 12 rounds again

An absolute unanimous one-sided 12-0 beating? We obviously need a rematch.

Floyd limited Marquez when they fought. Marquez showed heart throughout the fight, but that was the first time I seen him visibly discouraged between rounds in the corner.

He wants to fight guys he believes match up favorably to him imo since he's close to retirement.

Floyd hasn't shown any signs of interest in a rematch either. As we all know Floyd does what he wants.

120-107 the first time around. Anyone who wants to see it is... hmm, questionable and wishful thinking.

No. He should go after guys like Rios and Bradley.

@this stage in JMM, Pac & Mayweather's career I'd pass on any of them having rematches.
Keep their last batch of fights fresh.

Marquez needs to have some more confidence in himself. He's as of right now, the second best fighter in the world. If he worked hard enough and maybe changed his tactics, I see him having a shot.
