If Pascal stop Bute it will be before the 6th , well i think so

 

I see a few people with better knowledge of Pascal than me saying that Badlok, but I'm guessing Bute will be very careful in the first half, and at the same time be more effective than against Grachev.

 

I'd say something like 117-111 for Bute. Pascal will start strong and win the first 2 rounds, Bute survives and wins the rest of the rounds, except one around the 8-9th round where he take his usual break.

An early KO from Pascal is also highly possible, but I don't think Pascal can apply the same kind of pressure that killed Bute against Froch (remember how much pressure and how many shots it took for Froch to finish Bute who was hurt from round 2).

Something like that.. Maybe both promoters realised it's now or never. Bute's getting older and Pascal's body is falling appart.

Late stoppage? :think You're the first one I see with that kind of prediction.

 

The problem with Jean it's is stamina , so i don't think he carry is power late in the fight

 

As I've said mate, you guys know Pascal better than me,but I base that purely on Bute being far ahead and JP going for broke and maybe landing the one that troubles Bute giving JP an inroad.
But the 175 will help Bute,and I think this is where you see if it's his chin or indeed the problem making 168.

 

Just like Bernard Hopkins said, Pascal is a 4 round fighter. After 4 rounds, he gets tired and is ineffective so he wouldn't likely get the decision but more likely get the KO/TKO.

has a ring to it, granted, but quite unlikely. Pascal isn't a one punch KO puncher and Bute can take a pasting before going down. Most likely to be a TKO if Pascal wins, imo.

Have to say that I think Pascal is rightfully the heavy favourite here.

Pascal will come out strong looking for the early stoppage. He will win most of the first 9 rounds, I'm quite sure of that.

Yeah, I think Pascal will stop Bute or win a decision. Bute would do well to go 12 in this one, imo. If he does, he can win a close decision.

I never voted.And I hope the bookies agree with you.I'll have a healthy sip of the action if Pascal emerges as favourite in the betting.
I'll take a Bute decision at a good price all day long here.I only had Pascal winning if he gets lucky going for broke.

 

Keep in mind here... even if Pascal gets lucky and Bute gets knocked out, who says he won't get up and recover.... Pascal's style has never showed constant aggression. Also, who says Bute won't get lucky and spark Pascal.... it's happened many times and once pascal gets sparked, he's a different fighter.


Bute landed some flush clean shots even when Froch was brutally attacking. This time, instead of aiming for the head, he will aim for the body once under attack.
