Last week will praised the ridiculous heart shown by Timothy Bradley. Tonight was a different in his entertainment but i can't help but praise Matt Hall for his efforts tonight.

A guy who's encountered a tough 4-5 years with highs and lows. A emotional guy who honestly and bravely goes out to fight and fight one way with no backing up and leaves his blood on the canvas each and everytime.

Tonight i got to be honest he must of got to a point when he felt ner breaking point and lets face it as much as him and Arnie and his fans willed him on he must of known or felt it was becoming a lost cause. But he didn't look for a way out and kept marching forward and kept each round competitive against a skilled operator in BJS.

He showed defensive improvements IMO and tried to add to his game. He tried to move head and worked Saunders body well but he's simply not a Middleweight. It was a gun fight with one guy with a uzi and Hall with a small pellet gun. He's a LMW it's that simple but again he took the fight and gave his all.

Hall has constantly given up advantages to face tests or even come in a short notice just look back to European title fight against Konecny where he came in at a few weeks notice then was ridiculously rushed to the ring yet shrugged shoulders and ran to ring and yet again entertained fans in another competitive and brutal battle.

Boxing is the sport that's given him some rewards but he's given us some fantastic action over the years. A fearless warrior who i wish all the best because on a quiet Thursday night as we forget about tonights action he gets checked out by doctors and even may spend night in hospital.

Not to say every brave display deserves threads but if that's to be the end of Matty Hall i'd like to say Thanks for the efforts they haven't been in vein and if anything that's one of his best displays i've seen. Just a shame he's at wrong stage of career to be built upon.

Hall is a credit to boxing. An absolute warrior and born fighter. He also seems like a very humble guy, I wish him well in his retirement and hopefully he stays involved in a training capacity.

BIG balls shown from Matthew tonight. Great performance, did Manchester proud.

Arnie class in the corner! some great quotes.

"****in show him what a warrior you are, come on your from Manchester mate"

"get in close and ****in blast him, throw that right hand big Matt"

Arnie kept the belief there and kept him positive. A great effort, but Saunders was just too big and strong in the end.

All the best to Matty Hall as that looked to be his last fight.

Matt took some painful body shots that clearly hurt him which the commentators didn't pick up on.he simply sucked em up gritted his teeth and threw some back.**** knows how he didn't take a knee with some of them.WARRIO

upmost respect for matthew hall, to keep coming forward and like eubank said, in a fight he could not win he got up, hall wasnt going to win the fight but he kept coming and giving his best and was as tough as a rock, quite an inspirational performance that.
