This content is protected Brandon and his former amateur boxing coach Robert Gonzales. This is right after he beat Acostas.
Mostly everyone does, you don't forget to remind them how much you know and love Rios and how much you know and hate Victor Ortiz.
I have NEVER said I hate Victor Ortiz! Nor have I said anything about loving Rios. Rios has never forgotten his roots and he does alot for his hometown and the gym he got started in. Victor, not so much. I like Brandon's style and heart better is all. I am not close to him. Not even casual friends. I know his Dad and brother better. I am a fan though of Brandon the boxer.
I was just messing with you bruh, I respect what you do.....Who's the next fighter to come from your gym that will reach world class level like Rios and Ortiz did?
It's all good. Herbert Acevedo left here for Robert Garcia's gym a couple of years ago. He is 13-0 I believe now. Herbert was 3 - 0 with us before he left. 16 year old Victor Bravo is a multi-national champion and will compete at the Kansas Golden Gloves in the open class in April. Many of you may remember George "Tony" Way who use to post here. He was just realeased from the army today after two tours in Afganistan. He starts training with us again next week. He wants to turn pro soon at 165. Brevan Woydziak came back to our gym after 5 years in the marines. He is looking good at 178. We have several others who have even turned pro in the last 12 months or want too soon, The ones I mentioned have the most potential in my opinion.
Rafael Gramajo and Fernando Serrano are both starting as pros. Rafael is in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Fernando is in Dallas, Texas.
