Duran had just won his fourth title by beating one of the top middleweights. Yeah, THAT Duran

    and Ray beat Duran 12/12

what the **** are YOU talking about?

how does whipping Duran 12/12 compare with Ali of the berbick fight?

How does Ali, lying against the ropes for 12 rounds compare with Leonard dancing no stop for 12? Dont you have eyes that work?

you basically get your opinions from some other numbskull you heard or read about thinking it will make you seem more intelligent

the truth is, you have no opinion of your own and just copycat, lacking any original thought of your own

as predictable as Dave Green in a title fight

sorry if I hurt your feelings

The first line of your previous post actually backs up what i was saying yet you used it to try and prove your point:lol::lol::lol:

The comparison to the berbick-ali fight was meant insofar as neither Ali nor leonard ever won another fight. And just for the record, it was a 10 round fight not a 12 round fight. Dont YOU have eyes?

Both Duran and leonard where nowhere near their primes when they had the 3rd fight as 99.9999% would agree.

Answer me this then. Do you consider the nearly 35yr old Leonard who fought Norris as prime? If so, please explain how. If not, then how can you claim it as some kinda superwin for Norris?

And far from me listening to other people, i have my own opinions that some share and some dont. You are what people over here call a johnny opposite. How you have the gall to keep going on about Norris, who was a good fighter, win over SRL as some kinda currency that showcases how brilliant he was is, frankly, disturbing, and shows a complete lack of knowledge of the fight game. Fair play to Norris for the win, he did it in an emphatic fashion alright, but that wasnt the Leonard of 80/81 he was fighting and you know it

Ray never won another fight becuz 1) he ran into Norris, a style he'd never encountered before

and 2) he had one fight after that 6 yrs later. DUH!

"and just for the record it was a 12 round fight, not a ten round fight" How INTELLIGENT!

You don't know what you're talking about, and dont realize what you're really until your words are scrutinzed in the light of a Redrooster critique/analysis.

Again, how does Ray Leonard of 1989 compare with Ali of the Berbick fight?

PROVE your words, otherwise risk further embarassment

Again, what are you even talking about you absolute ****in clown?:lol:

You make no sense whatsoever. Your responses to posts make no sense whatsoever. If you think the berbick - ali fight was a 12 rounder, even after being told otherwise, then i aint wasting anymore time with you.

your a joke and a figure of ridicule on this forum. I WOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER SEEKING MEDICAL ASSISTANCE IF I WERE YOU BECAUSE YOUR MA..MA....MA....MA...MMMAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Wow you got to meet Ray Leonard??
If I ever ever ever get so lucky and have the pleasure of meeting Ray Leonard.

I will ask him where he ranks Lennox Lewis h2h and all time among heavyweights.

I remember when I met Marvin Hagler once in Italy and I asked him those questions and Hagler said

'Lewis is top heavyweight h2h and top 3 resume wise' Who am I to disagree with the great Marvin?

I shook Marvin's hands and left feeling very good.

you're the one making the comparisons. I never compared Leonard with Ali from the Berbick fight. that's why u dont see me confusing issue of 10 rounder with a 12 rounder of two different fights like you

shouldve just kept your big mouth shut. then u wouldnt have gone into that downward spiral of the past few days

that's how I am John mad-on36; I go for the jugular. u should know that

here's something else u should know: Terry Norris made one of, if not THE greatest comebacks in boxing history

when written off after the Jackson fight, he rebounded. history making accomplishments were at hand!

He slammed Mugabi in one brutal display of speed N power

then when NO ONE gave him a chance, he slapped Ray Leonard around the ring the way u slap your woman after a bad nite in bed

Yes, THAT Ray Leonard! Do u think u would fare better against a man with five titles & who could move the way Sugar did? (See uno mas!)

How would u feel if faced with the kind of adversity Norris faced, only to overcome both the odds & Sugar in overwhelming fashion!! :D

The ray Leonard unbeaten in 11 yrs, conqueror of Hagler! Hearns! Duran! Lalonde! Mayweather! Benitez!

But Norris was not such as they. Sugar never faced a man w Norris' speed, that's why he lost and there is no other reason

Just embrace this knowledge I have passed on to u John Mad-on 57&3/8

a talent so gr8, he could drop any opponent with his lightning fast left hook in the blink of an eye. We may never get to see another talent like Norris in our lifetime
