same here but there is a real argument for both. the distance between them and the next tier seems to be widening at times.

Great write up but that's a picture of Apostoli

    Here's Steele

One of his losses came after a three year retirement so his only 2 prime losses came against Hostak and Apostoli with his breastbone injury. Oh and he turned pro at age 13. Anyone who doesn't have Steele in their Top 10 MW's needs to re-examine what they're doing. Beast. I made a write up comparing his MW run to Hopkins and their legacies a while ago, perhaps i'll post it.

Pound for Pound is stupid...... w

The bottom line is that a tiger wil beat a dog... and Muhammad Ali will beat Sugar Ray Robinson... there is no such thing as a pound for pound match...only head to head matches.

Yeah, post away Vys, that'd be interesting to see.

I don't think Hostak was really in his prime...

Great offensive fighter to watch too, seems to bring many different beasts to mind when I see him let fly.

Against Dundee he was sloppy but still landed some incredible shots. Against Risko, the sequence leading up to the knockdown was accurate power punching at it's best, timing, speed, efficiency, shot selection, he had everything.

This is looking to me like the go-to "Top 100 list"; Despite the fact that I have to close my eyes and click my heels three times when I see Ray Leonard ranked over Mickey Walker.

Dear McGrain: Where oh where is Tiger Flowers?

I have the original version of Bert Sugar's "100 Greatest Boxers of All Time." His list is pablum compared to this. THIS is the list to pay attention to.

Calm yourselves gentlemen about Walker and Leonard. Walker and Leonard will be written up in due course. When they are written up they will either be reversed, or stick and when that happens i'll be content with wherever they lie.

The 100 as it is listed will change a great deal.
