We knew this ever since his ITV days... nothing new.

 

And there it is,one knobhead makes a racist comment so some dick makes a sweeping racial comment in reply.

 

The guy is an Olympic silver medalist, 2 time world champ, one of,if not THE best British fighter out there at the moment, yet oddly he gets a lot of hate from his own countrymen...Im just putting 2 and 2 together.

 

A lot of people hate khan for his personality, but alot hate him for his colour, i know, near half the people i have met that dont like khan have something against muslims or asians or even any non white race

 

I think the personality thing is a ruse sometimes too.

If a white guy acted like Khan,people wouldnt mnind so much.

If you ever actually listen to Khan in interviews,he actually comes across as a fairly humble guy. Confident sure, but hes a friggin PRO BOXER!

Am no khan fan and he does come across as arrogant (not on tv mostly twitter), but to say race has **** all to do with is simply naive, sure you might not involve race into liking people, but unfortunately a part of society isnt like you, they do involve race and judge purely on it. Irishny to what i have seen said 'English posters', meaning not all or most he is saying there are english posters who are racist.

everyone i have ever met that has met him (quite a few) say he is a very nice guy, talks to you more than any other athlete. Heard he actually has a conversation with you, unlike the usual hello, picture bye situation

You NEVER hear Khan talk like Froch. Just recently Froch said he'd give Groves a "pasting". Everytime hes asked about a fighter in his division,he says he'll KO them, or insults them in some way.
Imagine if Khan said of an up and coming British LWW,that he'd give them a "pasting". People would go nuts.

Khan has the temerity to say he thinks he can win or that hes going for a KO, and everyone says hes arrogant.

Froch is disliked for his personality. him and khan are very similair,ever since he turned pro he called domestic fighters 'below' him,those that had worked hard for years were 'not worthy' of fights with him and they were mere stepping stones,a workout etc. hugely disrespectful to those around him so you may not have heard him do so but tht,is not my concern. I have a rational dislike for him and so do many others, to brig up race is a card I could throw at the dislike of any fighter as some racists will dislike for tht reason.

Actually. The reason why Englishmen dislike him is, cause he's a dickhead and he waves two flags at the same time (****stani and British one). He reverts back to one or the other depending on what mood he is in.
The latter, petty it may be, irks a lot of people. Especially Englishmen who are naturally patriotic.

 

Odd, Americans loved De La Hoya and he waved Mexican and American flags.

Macklin wears the green of Ireland,and he doesnt seem to be hated in Birmingham.

Fury talks about his irishness all the time,and even fought for the Irish title, yet he doesnt seem to get hate in England.

Khans proud of his heritage, but he seemed to stand tall when God Save The Queen was playing when he woin the silver medal For Britain.

He has already fought 3 of the 4 in consideration - Garcia, Judah and Peterson. I don't understand why Khan is getting picked on for fighting Diaz. Diaz had pretty good showing in the draw against Porter, which really should have been a win for Diaz.

Everyone was complaining about Khan fighting Judah 2 years ago, when Khan easily beat him. Yet there is no one bitching about Garcia fighting Judah years later and especially considering this is second defense against yet another old man, after he beat an old Morales twice.
If Carl Froch vs Yusuf Mack is acceptable to the fans for a title defense fight. Then certainly, Khan vs Diaz should be acceptable for what it is.
