I did answer yours. By pointing out how silly it was. Calzaghe fought a lot of unknowns. Sakio Bika was a f*cking unknown.

    Bailey,

How many times have we been here?

It's you who constantly puts links on here claiming that Joe chased Roy.

Why would the best fighter in the world who fought at 175, want to fight a 168 guy who wasn't well known on the world stage, when he'd left that weight class in 1996?

Joe could have won a title at 175, and he could have impressed, made more money, and could possibly have had a big money fight against Roy.

It's called ambition. He didn't want to take the risk.

He couldn't hold on to his 168 title and fight Roy. It was one or the other.

He either had to drop the belt and move up, or stay at 168 and forget Roy.

His ambition didn't match his skills.

This is a Calzaghe appreciation thread, I am surprised to see you posting so much about Danny Green, and his superiority over the HW division.:huh

Calzaghe was a great and very unique boxer. The Jeff Lacy - fight proved his class. It reigns among the best champion-performances ever. Beating Hopkins seems a better performance today considering Hopkin“s still a force at 48.

Pick a new word. You talk more than a chick.

We all know Joe CalSlappy was ****.

5 of his title defenses were guys coming off losses.

It makes me insecure though, that looking closer in bailey's amazing Danny Green research, that there were a lot of prime fighters beating up on fighters that probably should not have still been fighting.

If all those form lines were prime fighters, Danny Green would seriously have claim, but since they were not, we can only imagine how the Prime Green Machine would do against Liston, Tyson, and Ali.

Again, glass houses and all that.

If you have a problem with Calzaghe then that's, litterally, your problem, but, seriously, trying to say no one is bitter about Calzaghe and his career and then ranting about how bad he was and how **** European and British boxing history must because others rate him and you dont, completely undermines that statement and make you look hypocritical.

    Wrong again.
Why do you keep posting just to get it wrong?
In world title fights they had 6 common opponents, each fought 3 first, so wrong again.
Kessler was having his 40th fight when he faced Calzaghe and was having his 6th world title fight, was a unified champ, beaten 2 other then current SMW champs and 3 still world rated former SMW champs, one of which became a SMW champ after

Going in Calzaghe was having his 22nd world title fight and Kessler his 6th.
Im glad that you noted resume and edited because Calzaghes resume was greater than Kesslers -

Kesslers - Beyer, Siaca, Lucas, Mundine, Thobela, all either or former SMW champs and world rated as well as undefeated Andrade
    All good

Calzaghe - Eubank, Reid, Woodhall, Brewer, Mitchell, Veit, Lacy, all either or former SMW champs and world rated as well as several other top 10 rated SMWs
    All good

As I showed you earlier 17 of the 24 world title fights he had were against fighters who were or became top 10 rated.
Froch didnt even win a world title until after Calzaghe had moved up and after he had taken part in his last fight. Froch then hadnt done anything other than win the British title

Evans was a top 10 rated MW and Bika was a fighter who had a tech draw with WBC SMW champ Beyer
    :lol::good Brilliiant.

"Froch then hadnt done anything other than win the British title"

Incorrect. Froch had worked hisway up to become Joe's number1 mandatory challenger for his WBC belt. Joe vacated instead and Froch fought and won it against Pascal.

If most his opponents weren't champs or top 10 ranked when he fought then, which they weren't, then Joe doesn't get credit for somebody eles's work.

    Worng again.

"JOE CALZAGHE is set to give up his WBC super-middleweight title because he doesn't want to fight Carl Froch, who has been named as his mandatory challenger.

The champ is not interested in facing the unbeaten Nottingham fighter and is expected to relinquish the belt to pursue a showdown with Roy Jones Junior or Kelly Pavlik.

Froch was made the No.1 challenger for the WBC crown after Dennis Inkin pulled out of their eliminator in Nottingham on May 10, claiming he was injured.

The Cobra is now expected to face former IBF champion Alejandro Berrio on the bill that also features Junior Witter's WBC light-welterweight title defence against Timothy Bradley."
