Say Brook and Khan win their next fights

Ignoring the silly thread below, do we see it happening? Will Khan not want to wait for the winner of the 140 tournament and become a 2 weight world champ? And will Hearn take the fight ASAP rather than letting it build up further?

 

If Khan's putting on muscle it might not be the best idea to try and make 140 again, its just an excuse waiting to happen.

 

Depends what Khan's contract with Boxnation is like- if it's a one shot deal then they could meet late 2013. I still think this fight is unlikely to happen in the short term because of money splits.

 

If they both win the earliest it'll happen in December/early 2014 IMO. More time to build up Brook to the casuals a bit more.

 

It should happen as soon as possible, regardless of if each wins their next fight...but that's boxing.
Reckon if Khan loses though then he'd have to take the Brook fight as he'd be desperate.

 

Think Khan waits for the winner of the tournament then win or lose he will move up

 

No chance, Khan just doesn't want the fight. He's saying Brook isn't worthy? Yet he's fighting Molina and Diaz back to back.

Khan is staying at 140 anyway isn't he?

 

No chance of it happening. Khan't is terrified of Brook.

 

I doubt that, considering who he's fought.

 

I can see the fight happening only if Khan moves up to 147 and if Brook becomes a bigger name

 

Would prefer Khan to beat Garcia before this happens.

 

But there is No Blueprint surely Khan has to be scared of that thought.

They both have different goals right now, it doesn't look like their paths will cross in the near future.

Khan is rebuilding & has plenty of options at 140, Brook has a title fight & win or lose will probably fight Purdy or rematch Jones next.

A lot can happen in a year, its a fight that makes money so fingers crossed it happens one day.

 

Khan should be fighting Peterson before Brook.
