If he wins, would do nicely for his international profile, considering UK prospect lost Price recently lost to Thompson.

Is this happening? Wilder will get banjaxed in a couple of rounds if it does.

He's obviously confident in his abilities that's why he has taken the fight.

Thompson should come in lighter this time.

First off, Haymon has nothing to do with it, at least not with Wilder. No association between the two.

Second, Price's promoter holds a rematch option on Thompson and he is not giving it up. I doubt they want the rematch, but they can put a price on dropping the rematch clause (and have done so) and will not release Thompson to fight anyone else lest they get big money to drop the rematch contract. So thompson is likely to have to sit on the sidelines unless Golden Boy wants to shell over a hefty six figures -- and GDP is more likely to just wait out the six months or whatever the term of the rematch option is.

Wilder will fight on the Khan undercard but it's not known against who. Audley turned it down.

Don't expect this fight to happen. Wilders next fight will be against another handpicked bum. Wilder sucks, and at almost 30 fights he has yet to face a live body. theres a reason for this, he has a glass jaw and as soon as he steps in with a live body it's getting shattered. Expect him to fight the usual fatslob drunkard until his promoters finally decide its time to cash out. Michael Grant all over again... Michael Grant was a lot more talented than Wilder though.

Um who has Wilder been hyped by aside from some obscure boxing journalist online? He doesn't even have a major network behind him, his name recognition as it stands right now is unknown outside of boxing. I'll be fair and say Price still does have a chance to come back and still holds skill but yes he was exposed but to say Wilder is more of a hype job is just not correct.
