bunce and lillis seem like rank amateurs, but in comparison to Ringside, they are like like harry carpenter and howard cosell. If I had children, I wouldnt let them watch Ringside, for fear of what it could do to their personalities.
It's funny though, we never see this sort of tantrum over Sky running down certain fighters (ie, Groves before he fought DeGale), or when they ignore the best guys in a division to create a storyline about their house fighter, or all the times they've painted an outright fabrication all through the fight to sell an agenda. No, Bunce does it in a fairly minor way and it's like a ****ing crying fit.
True enough about Nelson & MCrory! I just can't stand their high-pitched babble. They are like a pair of overly excited kittens. Each to their own though.:good
What fighter is it they ignore who's the best in his division? If you mean Andre Ward then I don't blame them, he's quite possibly the most boring man in existence.
Weeks before supersix and Froch had no UK broadcaster, he wasnt even mentioned on Sky, not a peep. Now he is a legend on Sky, best thing since sliced bread, and on PPV now, thanks to our hero new age promoter.
TBH we're scratching the bottom of surface if praise is given for being better then McCory and Nelson. It's rewarding mediocrity IMHO.
:deal The best example of this was the promotion of Brook vs Magic Matt. ****ing every thursday on ringside the only thing you would hear is how matt went 12 rounds vs Alvarez who was the future P4P no.1, mexican legend, massive superstar in the states and future greatest middleweight ever. It was ****ing pathetic how they were trying to make out Matt had a remote chance of winning the Brook fight and this was going to be a competitive match up.
