Hard to say this but this is good news. I'd rather Morales just retire than fight and lose to guys that wouldn't even be ranked high enough to meet him in his prime.

Some sort of punishment should definitely be in order, but two years is so ridiculous for something like clenbuterol when like you mentioned, Peterson and guys like Berto don't get two years for anabolic steroids. Who knows how this ban works, though? There have to be loopholes, although if Morales never fought again, I think it's be in his best interest health-wise.

He already said he doesn't give a **** about USADA and said if he wanted to fight again he would and there's nothing USADA could do about it.

Yeah the article said "banned from boxing" as if there was one centralized governing body. :patsch

Because he has trouble getting in shape as you saw in his fight before last.

It's probably the fact that he was allowed to fight after he tested positive. Gotta punish him for that undeserved payday he got.

TBH, I would have liked to see a Morales-Barrera 4 to end the show, as Barrera was looking to fight one more time if the right opponent is willing to fight him.

Guys it's a misconcenption that clenbuterol is a steroid, nonetheless it helps a lot in losing weight which i beleive is the reason why its a banned substance. I've personally used it for bodybuiding competition and damn it puts your fat metabolism in overdrive making you a fat burning machine.

Who doesn't use PEDS at this point? They all do em, its just a matter of who has enough money to not get caught. They should legalize and regulate it already.

Sink your mind into what you're saying. Boxing is a dangerous enough sport without PED's involved.

The brain is'nt constructed to take the type of blows a fighter takes in a boxing match. You add PED's into the mix and the fighters being able to dishout the punches at a higher rate and for longer periods without tiring, and its a recipe for someone to get killed.

Its a pity that boxing does'nt give a damn whether fighters use or dont use PED's.

Well the same logic can be applied to any one-sided beat-down. But it does increase the risk.

They are all the same in that it is a banned substance. He knew the rule and tried to cheat.

There are worse ways to be retired in this sport. And yeah... they're probably trying to save his life.
