Credit to Steiglitz for the win, but what he did was hardly amazing. Everyone knows Abraham starts slow, and so jumping on him from the first bell is the obvious thing to do. Abraham's eye freakishly swelling up to the point he couldn't see and ending the fighting before it even got started, shouldn't be enough to make us think he'll be a match for Ward.

    I agree.

Stieglitz presented the same kind of style and strategy first time around, the difference was Abraham came on late. This time Artur didn't get that opportunity due to the swelling of his eye. It was a good punch that caused the swelling, but nonetheless Stieglitz didn't do anything new to suggest he is a match for the top three in the division IMO.

Congrats on Stieglitz for a good win

AA came out of the Super Mid tournament w/ 1-3 record lol
His only win was against a past prime champion who had a competitive fight, till he caught him in the 12th...

Just saying its a measuring stick - does verify Stieglitz ability to a large degree.

I think it would be a good competitive fight, but Ward is just too diversified and capable in boxing skills

This been the blueprint vs AA since Dirrell. Its quite obvious AA has to slow roll his offense because of stamina issues. Theres stamina issues cuz he's over-muscled and undersized as a SuperMid... he shoulda dropped back down if he was looking for success. Of course better money fights in the SuperMids....

A great win for Steiglitz, but it means nothing against Ward. But, Ward should jump on this fight in Las Vegas as Steiglitz holds a belt and is as 'hot' as he is ever going to get as a fighter, meaning Ward would pick up a belt and maximize his profit against this fighter.

At least he should have the balls to start travelling to Europe now.

Regarding this thread: Bull**** :D To compare Ward with Abraham is nonsense. However, Stieglitz seems to be much better than I thought to be honest.

Yeah, if he goes for Bute he's getting KTFO......

And yeah.....I wanna see Stieglitz vs Ward myself. A slick Russian with some snap vs a wannabee slick Jokelander with feathfists.

I got Steiglitz to take over the p4p #2 spot of Fraud takes the fight.:deal:deal:deal

It's if Andre hasn't already beaten better fighters than Steiglitz already. :-(
