Foreman had better stamina than Liston. Foreman was dead tired against Peralta because his corner-man told him it was the last round when it was actually the 9th round. It may have been a corner error, but Bert Sugar states that it was to done to try to preserve Foreman's mystique as a knockout artist. Foreman can back at the end of the 9th round pissed to say the least. And he fought dead tired in the last round like a boss. Nobody wins more fantasy fights for a guy who bounced around Patterson like an invincible monster, and then in a twenty two month span quits on his stool, and embarrassingly rolls around on the canvas.
If your going to try to explain why Foreman would beat Liston maybe don't start with that... And also maybe explain why a light heavy could last the distance with the indestructible Foreman but Liston can't with his better natural heavyweight frame punching power jab strength and boxing ability....
People like to remember Foreman vs Frazier and Norton in fantasy matchups not him being taken the distance by a light heavyweight just because he could box... Liston can box punch has the jab and the size and strength as well. Frazier was tailor made for Foreman and Norton crumbled against hard punchers, Liston would have beaten both of them as well.
About my 3rd or 4th post in the thread buddy. I'm not awarding him fantasy victories now. Maybe he would, but maybe not. Who knows exactly.

Peralta won the 10th round LIKE A BOSS. Foreman looked like ****. I wonder what would have happened if it was a 12 or 15 rounder.
Look at Foreman's condition at the end of the 10th round. If it was a 12 or 15 round fight, Peralta might well have beaten the "big" bum.
By the same token, we could also say Foreman also destroys Floyd every time. And gets rid of Williams. And I like Frazier and Norton a lot more than those 2. Who doesn't? Sonny Liston's results were not all via ko1. For every Foreman--Perelta bout, there is a less than stellar Liston result like Marty Marshall. Both guys are "on top" style fighters. That type of guy looks great when things go their way. When things go sideways on them, those flaws are magnified and the results just aren't there. By far, the biggest margin between them is their corners and their management. And that gap is about as wide as it gets in the sport of boxing.
Foreman had better stamina, better offensive footwork, was way tougher never was stopped nor even as an old fat guy, had a decent jab, underrated timing, was bigger, was not really that slow, hit harder, beat better HWs and didn´t quit, actually far from it.
