I'm just a long time background reader but even I know "Patrick" is Phil Austin and "Spider" is CHB.

It's clear from this report that the IBO is in Greens back pocket.

 

with ref to patrick, i called it long long ago but CHB being spider, not so sure. In any event i think its funny that girls have to resort to hiding on alts so people dont know who they really are, pretty **** poor and weak, sure some people dont want to be known but when you have been posting as a known user then decide to go into hiding, at what point did these people loose their backbone or did they even have one to begin with lol..

IBO is a private org, they are a law unto themselfs like other orgs, the entire boxing industry needs to be overhauled. It needs to be regulated by the goverment and im not talking about boxing commission, im talkin about the ABC of belt orgs. At what point do these people step in and say hey its not ok to fight for a CW title at a catchweight your forcing your opponent to drain down to and come in at?

At what point do these people STOP putting on blatant missmatches, and its not just the orgs, its NSW boxing, VIC boxing etc, they all bloody do it. Its a great sport but dam it can be corrupted at times. Carry over points garbage, fighters with a string of losses fighting for state and AUS titles, the list goes on.

 

I thought Spider was a dead ringer for CHB ages ago, though there's one significant thing which makes no sense.

CHB had little knowledge about MMA, and wasn't a fan.

Spider has good knowledge of MMA, is a fan, and posts in the MMA forum a lot.

 

I think calling it dangerous is somewhat of a stretch.

Hopkins stated that he only fights for whoever pays more.

he was going to get more than likely over 3 times the cash fighting green at 50-50, then anyone else.

"Look guys I understand your concerns regarding these fights but I can assure you all that the IBO does everything in its power to get the best possible fights for our world titles. Also in Grinning Greeny's recent defences his opponents had carry over points from when they fought years ago at lower weight divisions and extra carry over points for having current neurologist health problems and drug addict issues with regards to the Briggs and Siaca defences. Also with the Briggs fight Paul received bonus points to add due to the fact that the NSW combat sports authority wouldn't sanction the fight. These fighters points totals made them legitimate contenders for the cruiserweight/dannyweight world title. Look guys we know it's not perfect but we are more then happy and proud to have these type of fights for the IBO world title which are becoming more and more prestigious as we move forward".

It's not just Danny Green when Mundine was supposed to rematch Geale and vacated the IBO MW title he was then going to get a shot at the vacant IBO JMW title against Medley even though Medley wasn't ranked in the IBO TOP 50 at the time. The reason for the exemption was Medley had the Intercon title or some bollocks.

 

How do you know? He could have got 3 mill for the RJJ rematch and your taking Green's word as gospel. Hopkins net worth is $40 million. Since then he has beaten Pascal at 46 the WBC/IBO/RING champion though he only became the WBC/RING champion because he wouldn't pay the IBO fee because it's a lesser credible title and put on a masterclass at 48 to defeat an unbeaten champion in Tavoris Cloud though you wouldn't of watched it and break his own record as the oldest man to win a credible belt.
The proof is in the pudding who did Green fight next when Hopkins said no? Dawson put his hand up so did Troy Ross oh Manny Siaca.

 

i'm not making comment on greens word stiffles. being a hater, u just jump to conclusions yet again.

rematch with rjj was a one off option stiffles. and after green battered jones senseless, it was not a very popular option anymore.



green was easily his best payday, and according to u, a very very easy half an hours work. we r not talking about an extra 100 bucks stiffles.

so wouldn't that make Hopkins a hypocrite?

 

I know Im a hater but after calling him a pissant and saying he has all these big fish to fry he comes out with this cringeworthy attempt to shame Mundine to a fight when we know he has already been lining up Siaca.

Boxing commissions and sanctioning bodies are private businesses, there should be a worldwide central body.

If I recall correctly, CHB used to chip in quite regularly on MMA debates. If I was a betting man I would put money on it that they are one and the same.

I concur, from what I remember he used to get schooled on most threads, these people that pretend to be experts on everything, more often than not know very little.
