It's seems crazy to me, that you can make such a prediction for guy who hasn't fought in pros. By the time Lomachenko enters pro(if he ever will) he and Nonito will be same size, I just can't belive you can make such a prediction.

lomachenko will be 28 by the time he turns pro and have a alot of am wear from hundreds of fights......loma will never be top 10 p4p let alone number 1 because of this....he might grb a belt at some point before retiring though

He's fighting pro rules now, against good fighters and is turning full pro after April, and he won't be starting off at super Bantemweight, super featherweight maybe, I'd say most likely lightweight, he's clearly bigger than Donaire, who I can't see going above featherweight personally, he doesn't put much weight on between weigh ins as it is now.

He's turning pro this year, and he's only just turned 25, not 28

This, its a shame he is wasting his talent in the ams . . . he could be great but right now is nothing more than a great amateur. I think going into the BS WSB was perhaps one of the dumbest things i have ever seen in the sport.

I disagree with that, I thought the same at first to be fair when it seemed like he was going to the WSB instead of turning pro.

He's come out and stated that he's using it as a transition between the amatuers and the pros for one series. He's fighting very good fighters, under pro rules set (though with bigger gloves) against fighters that would be much better than anything your usual novice pro would be put in with, i think it's actually a decent idea and a good learning curve.

How they move him on when he turns full pro will be interesting, and probably going to be difficult match making

    Ok...

Lomachenko clearly has a good pro style, and is one of the greatest amateurs of all time.

He has around 6 years on him before he starts sliding..but he is a potential ATG.

    I'm creating a team...

    TeamAnj
    Victor Ortiz
    Vasyl Lomachenko
..and two others I am yet to decide..

His body shots are great, footwork is great, his defense is beautiful, you can clearly see he is more talented than Broner.

Wasting his talent? He won two olympic golds in different weight classes and is turning pro this year at only 25 years of age. Pernell Whitaker always said his dream was to win olympic gold and everything else on top of that was a just a bonus. An olympic gold is far harder to win than a pro title so I don't see how you could say he's wasting his talent in the amateurs. Not everybody fights for money, the best actually love the sport and the amateur game is the sport. The pros are just a business where any B grade fighter can get manoeuvred into a title shot.

I think a lot of fighters could beat Donaire, Lomachenko is undoubtedly the better schooled boxer.

Audley Harrison also has an Olympic gold.

    No points made here:patsch

SRL, Roy Jones, Whitaker - all top amateurs.
Visibly we can see the talent of Vasyl.
+ his style is very suitable to pro boxing...

    Sky is the limit.

Point being? There's also a thousand cans fighting in the pros with no amateur record. The top pros were generally the top amateurs first, that can't be denied. Lomachenko is as professional as any fighter can get, he has no visible weaknesses and has won two olympic golds in different divisions after a long amateur career with only one loss to his name (which he avenged). He is on another planet compared to someone like Audley Harrison, they may as well be competing in different sports. If Lomachenko is struggling against someone like PDL then he would be failing as a pro with his skill set and achievements.
