I doubt it, Martinez made 5 million at the gate in Argentina, Matthysse should stick to the 20 loss guys

Huge Floyd fan, but this is his easiest fight in years imo, since Baldomir in fact.

Hatton was an undefeated P4P ranked beast with excellent footwork and body punching, DLH is DLH, JMM was P4P #2 and Floyd was coming off a near 2 year lay-off, Mosley had just destroyed Margarito, Ortiz had a huge size advantage along with massive strength, power and had gotten rid of his mental demons against Berto, and Cotto is just a brilliant fighter.

Guerrero brings nothing. He's the same weight as Floyd, has zero power, isn't a great slickster, doesn't have great technical skills, isn't undefeated, isn't P4P ranked (apart from the baffling decision by RING to have him in their top 10) etc. It's a decent enough comeback fight for Floyd and i have no problem whatsoever with the fight, but it's certainly not his biggest test since Hatton.

The only way I can imagine Guerrero presenting any kind of threat to Floyd is if Floyd is not on his game. Guerrero has just taken a steep ass climb in his competition level and he doesn't have anything Floyd hasn't seen. I can see this fight playing out like Floyd vs. Hatton.

Guerrero is much better than Ortiz on a technical level, a much better jab/right hook, better footwork/lateral movement , and better defense, he wasnt nearly out on his feet vs Berto or been in trouble/as hurt as much as ortiz has been throughout their careers. Guerrero has zero power? Thats just stupid to say. JMM? The guys first attempt at 147 and gets cheated on the scales, obviously didnt put the weight on right as u can see he looks much better now with a conditioining coach than when he was lifting rocks in the mountains for Floyd. DLH was at the very end of his career plus is primarily a one-handed fighter fighting with his strong hand in front and Mosley was also at the end of his career coming off a one year layoff and hasnt won a fight since. Hatton is just a mauler who got himself knocked into a ring post charging in with his chin up in the air.

I dont take credit away from Floyd for winning these fights but comparing them to Guerrero makes no sense considering Guerrero does have at least one thing that all of these fighters you mentioned didnt have.

He's got the youth and can hit with both hands equally good that DLH didnt have. The youth and activity that Mosley didnt have. The technical skills, fundamentals/defense that Hatton didnt have. The technical skills, fundamentals, defense and toughness that Ortiz didnt have and hes grown into welterweight/is physically as big/bigger than Floyd unlike Marquez. Also who is the best southpaw Floyd has fought? Zab right? We know what happensbwith Zab in the big fights. Guerrero has shown us he can remain calm, relaxed and be mentally strong in there. And on a technical level, Floyd has been hit cleaner and harder by southpaws such as Corley and Judah due to holes in his defense caused by his aggressiveness when fighting a southpaw. Even one dimensional ortiz clipped him with right hooks coming in but Guerrero has the boxing skills/iq and toughness Ortiz was missing
