After six rounds. With Lewis winning the last two and with at least four rounds being close and with six rounds left to go when the fight was stopped. If they'd fought a 7th round the way the fight was going Lewis was going to win that one as well.

Face it. Vitali started strong but Lewis got the measure of him and was on top when the fight was stopped. You dont win a fight by being ahead on the scorecards half-way through and being stopped by injuries or cuts.

Vitali was strong for 2 rounds IMO. But Lewis took his punches and in round 3 Vitali was cut very badly.

His corner should have say, now it is time to knock Lewis out, this fight will not go the distance. The cut is worse.

But Lewis becomes stronger and after 6 rounds the fight was stopped because the doctor had to save Vitali´s health.

:nono Lewis lost rounds 4 and 5 against injured Vitali. Injury or no injury Vitali was easily outboxing Lewis. Ref blew the call. TD6 ftw. No blueprint.

The ref didn't "blow the call" because Vitali face was falling off. Point me to an example in recent years of cuts that was as bad as Vitali's yet the fight was allowed to continue and point me to an example of close fight being stopped by cuts and the referee announcing the guy who was cut to be the winner or stop talking out of your arse.

Vitali lost. He couldn't continue fighting or he risked serious damage. I think even his most ardent haters would admit that he fought a great fight against Lewis, did better than anyone expected him to and earned a shitload of respect for that fight, but it is guys like you, the nuthuggers who try to distort and rewrite events, that give him a bad name and make people want to hate on him.

If you had been saying for the past god knows how long that "Vitali fought well in a close fight that almost everyone expected him to lose and in the end was unfortunate to lose the way he did and would have won the rematch" I'd probably have no problem with you. I might disagree with you on the rematch thing but it would be a resonable argument. Instead your argument has been "Vitali wiped the floor with Lewis, Lewis used illegal thumbs to cut him, Vitali was injured, the referee should have given him the win, and Vitali never really lost to anyone" and all that's bull****.

Your falling over yourself to make excuses just so you dont have to admit the hardly humilating fact that Vitali Klitschko lost to Lennox Lewis fair and square.

If he's a better boxer why was he behind 4-2 on all cards? And the cut was opened by the glove, that I'll give you, a glove pressed into the face and moved in an illegal tearing motion with Lewis's left arm around Vitali's neck - where it was the whole six rounds without one warning from the midget shithead ref. Tko6 was a cheat and a con, hence retirement of so called winner.
