I'm curious as to how this would play out. Personally a Golovkin KO would be my pick. Thoughts?

Considering Mundine never beat a world class champion while in his prime your opinion is probably right.

Mandy dances circles around the overrated GGG at 168.
    IMO.

I reckon it would be similar to Mundine v Kessler, Golovkin wins a UD

So now Geale fans are gonna pump up Mundine to make their boy look better?

No. Mundine does not dance circles around any genuine world champion. He never has and never will. :deal

Mundine probably avoids Golovkins bombs for the first four rounds, slows down and then gets caught. Ottke-like KO :smoke

Totally agree. He would do what he has to do to survive, never committing to anything and doing what he has to do to go the distance. Did it against Siaca and Kessler and would do it against GGG if it ever happened.

I agree first half hard shot mandy copped from GGG it would be track shoes on & dance & run for the rest of the fight whislt doing nothing.............then the bell rings at the end of the 12th & he'd jump up on the ropes ' celebrating the win'........scorecards a re read out all with GGG as the winner..........mandy cries robbery & announces he wants a rematch that he has no interest in.........hang on a minute I think this has happened a few times.

I'm not giving Mandy any more credit than he deserves.
GGG is simply not that good, and will get exposed soon enough.

I think it's tragic that GGG is loosely being compared to Kessler. :patsch
    Kessler would annihilate GGG.

BTW, how is GGG a genuine world champ?

GGG hasn't done anything to suggest he could beat someone like Mandy, unless you think bashing a pile of blown up tomato can MW's does the trick.

    Golovkin wins by early KO..

Anthony's lack of amateur experience would really show here.
Golovkin would catch him early and Mundine would have to fight inside.
For one, he doesn't have a great inside defense - he leaves plenty of gaps in that shoulder roll and he'll be unable to counter punch out of it at Golovkins pace.

I say this would be a really bad style match up for Mundine.
I know he has plenty of fans on this site, but this one finishes early.
