Yeah I know Slater is king but just so Barba gets some Origin experience I say we move Slater to Wing which he can play and would be very capable so us fans get to see Barba. Lawrence OK but me I would want either the speedster Jennings or because there is not many Kicking options put Lyon in there. Last time I remember Lawrence getting rapped by Inglis and Boyd on his side. I think they combined for 3 tries against him on that side.

 

Lyon wont play, he is retired from rep footy, for mine Jennings is too hot & cold for origin, he's rocks or diamonds, i cant recall that happening to Lawrence but better players than him have been metaphorically raped by Inglis, i'd be prepared to consider it a one off if he has the right [players inside & outside him

 

he has been brilliant in all 3 games this season.

 

The way he plays also if you had Jennings and Hayne on the same side it would be difficult for QLD to defend.

Morris and Uate on the other.

 

Mead will be kicking one of those wingers out in the next yr or so.

 

Then for Quuensland

A scary thought keep Slater at FB.

Barba was rewarded for being flashy, Slater just doesn't need to do this as much anymore, he's a part if a well oiled machine, a very important part, he's always in position, & a massive part if their attack goes through him

I know who I'd want to play fullback in any Australian or rep game, Slater is just the allround fullback & footy player in general, Barba has a long way to go to catch up & may never

 

as a saints fan were in need of a big clean out, price is awful with the game plan he sets, trying to be bennett does not work (see anthony griffin and with a more talented roster too), we are a team thats had good success and been in finals more years then not, honestly we need a brian smith style clean out without brian smith lol.... creagh aint a captain, i would rather have weyman, merrin there, creaghs good in structure like bennett not like how we play now which is all over the place... start your best players dont bring them from the bench im sick of weyman and merrin from the bench

 

think gidley might be riding the pine pony after mullen and roberts continued thier great combo from last season . gids could be wearing the 14 on his back .
