****... not long left for the K Bros I think. Wlad is elite, but his style doesn't favour slowing reflexes

I wonder if the brothers intend to retire together? It could explain Vitali holding off retirement when it's clear he should hang them up

Nah he'd have to wait a while

Though he could fight 3 of 4 times a year for the next 10 years if he keeps up his currently level of opposition

He'll be stripped of all his belts if he does that.

    :D

I'm not so sure to be honest. I could imagine Wladimir walking away from the sport while still number 1. I couldn't imagine him being desperate to stay in the public eye or prove anything to the fans or critics, and appointing Jonathan Banks as his trainer seemed a strange move to me. Like he had a short/medium term plan to get out of the sport and decided just to keep things as they are for the time being.

Turning 37 sort of came as a surprise to me just there. For a while now I've thought of Wlad as mid 30s and with years still in him, but for me 37 is late thirties, not mid thirties. Some fighters can go on successfully past prime, but guys like B-Hop, Vitali and George Foreman have/had steel chins. Wlad doesn't have a steel chin, and when his reflexes slip (if they haven't already) it is time to walk away
