    This thread is gold.

I want to quote the first 4 pages.

I will say that I was not very nervous heading in, but that was at a time when ESB was full out Mayweather/Pacquiao/Mosley talk, so I had to be confident with all that I'd said and predicted. I thought Mosley would get a weak referee mercy stoppage in 10, but that did not happen.

I was more nervous heading into the Ortiz fight than both Mosley or Cotto, ironically...

I remember round 2 being one of the most intense moments of my life as a sports fan. Talk about heart beating like crazy and everybody in the room shouting.

  2. I always thought Mayweather's win over Mosley was overrated because Mosley's win over Magarito was overrated because-

    1. It happened more than a year prior
    2. I think Marg was fighting dirty at least 3 fights prior to the Mosley fight
    3. Mosley struggled mightily in the prior fight to that with Maygora

Lol, look at this comment on the magazine cover:

"FM is Afraid to fight a true Welterweight like Mosley, that’s why he cherry picked a Smaller Marquez to fight!!! If Floyd wan’ts people’s Respect then fight Mosley and Beat him."

Do you consider Canelo a threat?

Good question. I think he is definitely more of a threat than Ortiz, Mosley, Marquez during the time they fought him. From what I know NOW, PRESENT DAY, If someone put a gun to my head, I'd put my money on May to beat Canelo still. Why? Aside from May being a Fantastic boxer, I think he has the experience to deal with Canelo. Now, if I see something different in Canelo or May in their next fights, I could possibly change my mind. If Mayweather proves that he is still fighting at a high level, and handles Guerrero, Like I expect, I don't think Canelo can beat him but he would definitely be a greater threat. There's no size advantage for May in that fight. Canelo would hold the edge in overall size. The outcome would be more of a factor in skill and experience for May. If May decides to fight Canelo, he better do it sooner than later. The longer he waits, the more chances Canelo has. I want to see what he does with Trout. It'll give me a better idea. If Canelo wins in an impressive fashion, I think he would be a LEGIT threat to beat May.

For the record, I don't believe May will fight Canelo. If he does (assuming Canelo beats Trout), I will give May a lot of credit just for taking the fight. Then maybe we can talk about predictions ;)

How much of a threat is he to you?

Yeah, it's kind of TBD until April 20th. If Canelo wins, he'll get the fight especially if Doc makes a thread about it. Almost a proven formula now.
