****'s kinda scary. Maybe Doc should make a Mayweather ducking Martinez fight so we can get it. :deal

    :yep

I truly do see this fight happening if Canelo can take Trout legitimately. Floyd wouldn't have put him on the approved opponents list (for ex: Martinez is not on that list and he's under contract with HBO anyway) if there wasn't a strong possibility. All we know is that Alvarez is a lot younger, will have a significant weight advantage in the ring and can put powerful shots together impressively. That alone along with his budding fame (deserved or not) makes it an intriguing fight. We'll see what type of level he's able to execute at (or not), and soon. This might be the last 'mega event' out there for Floyd. I think he takes it if it's there once he shakes some rust off against Robert. It would've been incredibly dumb to jump into a fight with basically a SMW on fight night without knowing where his body is truly at.

Why wouldn't Floyd fight him? He's mexican, a big draw and he's with Golden Boy. 34 yr old Oscar was a bigger threat stylewise.

IMO Canelo Vs Mayweahter is very unlikely, specially now that Canelo has a big pair of cojones in making ultimatims and swearing he will never be on a Mayweather card ever unless they are fighting. So with that in mind, I do not think it will happen specially if Canelo owns trout spectacularly,

what i do see happening is Mayweather fighting 140 pounders, khan in UK, and ending it with broner as he has been quoted in saying he would love to pass the torch to Broner or Gamboa, but seeing as how 50 cent owns Gamboa, that'll never happen, but Broner vs Mayweather is very likely, IMO i think that's why Broner was streamlined to 147l

I would get on my knees and praise mayweather like a god if that mother****er faces Trout Canelo winner, that would be to amazing!

Mayweathers skills is to much for guys his size, he would have to face a bigger guy that doesn't come close to his skills to even it out, and thats why I believe May would never face CANELO trout Winner, Im willing to be proven wrong. But It is what it is... and Ill be the first to praise mayweather as I always am when he proves me wrong, like the GHOST fight is dope as **** and I'm buying that PPV for SURE!

You're consistent, that's all anyone can ask for. Hopefully Mayweather and Canelo win and that fight happens.

I'm a realist, I dont see that happening ever.

a big southpaw with skills and size? HBO boy + out of house promoter reaping the rewards with Mays loss, NEVER, not a big fan base, his handles would not benefit if the opposite won Like GBP winning by mayweather passing torch to Canelo, or Haymon winning by Trout getting passed the torch by beating Canelo and May, trouts career would be on its way to HOF glory specially with his ambitions to continue to 160 after 154.

So IMO there is a slight chance we get Canelo vs Trout winner, if SHO and GBP can throw a huge Guarantee at Mayweather where May would forget about "health is more important"

Mayweather>Marquez, Mosley, Ortiz, Guererro, Canelo. Your jealousy of Mayweather is kinda funny.

The only reason it won't happen is because Sergio can't realistically make 154 anymore. :nut

34 yr old Oscar a bigger threat? vs a Prime Mayweather? Not sure.

If he fights Canelo, It would be something similar though. He doesn't take fights like this often. I hope I'm wrong.

You gotta look at styles. That version of Oscar still had faster hands, more power and a better jab than Canelo. Only new thing Canelo would bring to the table is bodywork.

It's a big money fight with the same promoter and Floyd would have the stylistic advantage.

Mayweather wasn't exactly prime at 154.

Mayweather will not fight Canelo. Stop kidding yourselves. What I'm curious about is if Canelo wins and Floyd chooses to fight Devon Alexander (which I think is his next fight) what Mayweather fans out there will agree it's a duck? Probably none of them but I'm curious lol

Not really, he's much smaller come fight night. If Floyd wants to fight at 147, he's entitled to.

Before mayweather vs mosley was signed to fight each other, I thought mosley had a great chance because he can match Floyd with speed but mosley got the better pop and face a better prime version of Oscar in the first fight. But I knew before margarito vs mosley and few days after mosley destroyed margarito that many Floyd haters will bash Floyd saying he's scared to fight mosley. I remember the fans that are Floyd haters was calling Floyd a p4ssy when mosley confronted mayweathey in the post interview after mayweather easily beat marquez in a shut out. But after mayweather easily beat mosley, every Floyd haters still didn't give floyd credit. Floyd just cant win by his haters.
