Green also copped a couple of beatings, so all talk aside, he didn't run in the ring when his turn came. He (almost foolishly) went toe to toe and came off second best. He lost me as a fan years ago but I still have respect for this. They were both AFTER his retirement too.
The balance between talk and action got lost in the hysteria somewhere.

 

True though I read your post as being because he has a criminal past he was somehow scum.which as you know many people in boxing do yet have become better people due largely to boxing. If you got rid of everyone in boxing who has a criminal record or connections their would be noone left.
