Do you blame Robert Garcia for not stopping margarito vs pac?

No because Margaplaster said he would rather die in the ring. Which is ironic because Margacheat used plaster against Cotto and almost killed him in the ring.

I think he would act differently if he were given a second chance. It was a mistake, but Margarito's persona and relationship of trust in Robert compelled him to let it go on. The ref should bear more blame IMO, as should the ring doctor.

Garcia knew that coward Margarito needed to be punished for his sins

 

As well as the athletic commision who let Pacquiao wrap illegaly despite the protests of Robert Garcia.
Pacquiao was allowed to use rolled up tape between the knuckes to create an insanely high ridge in every knuckle.

The weight of a punch concentrated in one of those high ridges and broke Margarito's orbital bone around the eye.
I thought it was outrageous the commision let it go. :-(

 

Apparently they first let Oscar do it, so Roach simply took advantage and did it from the moment they allowed DLH on.

There were unusually high ridges on Pacquiao's wraps on the knuckles.

Just because they allowed DLH to use it does'nt mean its right.
Roach did protest in the DLH fight and the commisioner actually did step in and told DLH that he had to reduce the thickness of the tape he was using between the knuckles. No such thing for Pacquiao vs Margarito.

Check out this video and pay attention the the high ridges on Pacquiao's handwraps when he's wrapping for Margarito.
I've looked at Pacquiao's wraps when they've shown him wrapping in his subsequent fights, and he has'nt been sporting those high ridges he was allowed to use vs Margarito.

Everybody was so focused on the way Margarito was wrapping his hands, Roach the cheat that he is decided to sneak illegal wraps on Pacquiao. To take the focus away from Pacquiao wrapping his hands illegally, he made a ruckus in Margarito's dressing room about Margarito putting some kind of stimulant in his drink.

Who gives a **** what Margarito drank, if it was illegal, it would show in the post drug test.
Roach played the Margarito drank something illegal card to take away from the commison strictly focusing on Pacquiao's handwraps.

Stacking and using rope-like ridges are two different things. The vid does not show Manny stacking multiple layers of tape and gauze, it shows him using tape ridges. This video doesn't include the part of the clip where Roach says the commission supervisor gave the OK for DLH's wraps, and that he would see if Manny liked it, and if he did, that he'd continue to do so as it had been approved for Oscar.
