    The only thing stupid is calling someone a boxer who covers up and gets hit. Unless you have not been following his career at all. He is lucky he got the win on Khan too.

    Bogotazo, i wouldnt say Matthysse has good headmovement, especially when hes coming forward, he keeps his head straight up and drops his guard often. I actually see him getting rocked when Lamont times him coming forward. Also i dont think Peterson will have a problem with bringing that jab back before being countered since Holts handspeed is a notch up from Matthysse. Lamont has had to face so many guys with much better handspeed that he'll be the one getting inbetween Lucases shots

    Someone said Peterson is too slick, Not sure what to make of that. I guess he is if walking around the ring heel to toe with a Winky guard is considered slick.

    I think it's going to be a war.

    I wouldnt say Peterson was hurt. Those were flash knockdowns plus Matthysse doesnt have handspeed anywhere close to that of Khan. Once Lamont tames that right hand, he'll be lighting Lucas up to the body and with left hooks all night

    It's not great but it's something he does employ. I don't doubt Peterson will catch him with left hooks and other shots coming in, but he'll be made to miss a few.

    Holt may be a bit quicker, but Lucas has great timing and accuracy, and he'd only have to land once. Did you check this out? It was in response to your earlier post:

    Yeah thats what i as replying to. Its also interesting how many southpaws Matthysse has faced since steppibg up in competition. That means the last decent orthodox fighter he fought was Soto? I just dont know what hes gonna be able to do if he cant land enough right hands. I really think Lamont is gonna take him to school.

    If he can't set up the right hand then Peterson will outbox him as that's the closest thing to a specific weakness he's got, at least that I've seen. Matthysse should start faster.

    Peterson couldn't skool braldey,ortiz,khan, so I don't' see how this or any version of lamont would skool anybody especially a much more dangerous & versatile Lucas.
