I had floor tickets for Froch vs. Bute in a good area, some 30 metres from the ring and couldn't see very much at all because people kept on getting up in front of me. I would have been MUCH better off getting cheaper tickets in the stand. For the Calzaghe vs. Kessler fight, I had cheap tickets in the stand, some 50-60 metres from the ring and had a great view of the whole event!

I will never buy floor tickets ever again!:deal

The ticket prices are monterous too. :-(

3 times more expensive than usual.

Just an example : Pascal-Hopkins 2 tickets were the most expansive in the history of boxing in Québec, and some tickets were 375$. For the same exact seat for Bute-Pascal, it's gonna be 527$! That's ridiculous!!

I agree on the price of tickets being too high, but this is going to be the highest profit fight in the history of Canada.

This is not good and it's not right.:-( This fight should have been a gift for the fans. Should have had prices just slightly higher and have a quick sell out of 22,000 seats.

I wouldn't pay more than the equivalent of £100 for a good seat, that's for sure.

I'm sure they've considered it, but why didn't they make a huge event of it by staging it at the Olympic Stadium, with ticket prices at normal rates? Would they not have managed to get 30-35k people? (given that they can get 22k at much higher prices)

It's a business and they know the fans are going to show up in any case. They want to maximize profit. If they make the same revenue @Bell with 22000 fans with high price as @Stadium with 40000 fans with lower prices, of course they are going with Bell center. They have fight there all the time so the organisation would be efficient. It's less of a hassle and cheaper than doing it at the Stadium. That's what I assume anyway

Though I bet they are eyeing for the Stadium in a rematch. Though I doubt the prices are going to be a lot lower :rofl

Because the Olympic Stadium looks like an old communist revolution building which is on the verge of collapse.... It's to big for this event, fans with nose bleed seats wont even be able to see it...
