Those body shots Tyson was landing make me cringe. Both showed amazing heart and stamina in that fight, VERY underrated performance. The sneaky left hook/uppercut Ruddock throws is a thing of beauty.

Tyson got older, out of shape, and couldn't do what he once did after the stint in prison. Tyson's technique got sloppy as well: less head movement and he became a head hunter. Tyson obviously needed some counseling as well and better, honest people around him. Reality.

Ruddock was fighting back plenty, and landing some hard shots that night while Tyson appeared to be gassing a bit. Shouldn't Mike have folded? You don't accumulate the record of Tyson, and the titles of Tyson, by "folding when things get tough in the ring." Give me a break.

Couple things here: One, that takes credit away from the guys who did beat Tyson at various points in his career. Whether he was prime or not he was always dangerous. Two, it shows a lack of appreciation for a world champion's dedication and hard work to reach the pinnacle of one of the most brutal sports in the world.

It's long been accepted that everything about manny pacquiao is suspect. The achievements themselves, what with the drug testing thing. Bob Arum's claims of PPV buys, since HBO/Showtime refuse to ever list the official number (despite the fact they always list official #'s for other fighters).
