you missed off allot of fights but still it has been disappointing. I have never claimed hearn to be the saviour of boxing but he is better than anybody else.
Hearn is a better promoter for the fans than anyone else around now. You can criticise his shows or the fights he puts on, but he's delivering something better for the fans than anyone else is. That isn't even debatable really. As for the Gonzalez fight, it's a mandatory. If Burns doesn't take the fight, he loses plenty of money and has no strength on the negotiating table against the likes of Vazquez in the future. You can't be too critical of mandatory fights because they bring big money in, and that's what makes big fights happen.
I'm not about to give Eddie a free pass on something I would give Frank **** for, I like Hearn tbh Eddie that is, I can't stand his old man but he is more like Frank and every other promoter than people like to think.
The undercards even at the lower end are way more competitive, you only have to look at the march 9th bill for that.
Got to love the genius, franks 20th April bill was supposed to have Burns/Vazquez instead the chief support has been bumped up and there's no replacement big fight and he's giving Hearn grief.
It's incredible what effect a bit good looks, fake tan, cheap suit, and smooth talking will have even on a male-dominated audience .
