Lewis, without even bothering to train properly, smashed Vitali's face open so badly that he had to have 70 stitches and reconstructive surgery to repair the damage. Do you really want to see what a fully fit, fully motivated Lewis would have done to your hero?

Wlad on the other hand couldn't even beat journeyman Puritty and got brutally smashed to pieces in under 4 minutes by a chubby golfer. Even after Lewis retired Wlad went on to get sparked out by Brewster. Lewis vs Wald would have been a mismatch.

Bull****, read my responses to that in the TKO6 thread. Thicko.

And that chubby golfer gave Vit a harder fight than Lewis managed, the cheat Lewis! And if you want to talk history let's go back to tko2 and the one punch crack head that demolished YOUR glass chinned hero in 4 mins, or the fat no hoper that switched off your hero's lights with one shot.

    H2H
    Lewis
    Vitali
    Wlad

I honestly think that Lewis and Vitali are pretty close here, I place Lews ahead due to his power and skills as a pure boxer. Wlad is a notch below, Wladimir is the most athletic but his lack of toughness (despite having just as much heart as anyone) sets him behind the other two.

    Ability
    Vitali
    Lewis
    Wlad

Vitali is the most complete fighter with the best skill set imo, Lewis and Wlad are better boxers, but Vitali has a few tricks here and there (a few that are hard to coach).

    accomplishments and legacy
    Lewis
    Wlad
    Vitali

Not much to debate here.. Lewis has beaten the better boxers in similar dominant fashion as the Klitschko brothers, and he has (no matter how you turn and twist it) a legit win over Vitali.

So a guy who you TKO gives you a tougher fight than someone who disfigures your face and TKO's you.

Yes, Lewis lost, but McCall and Rahman are much better than Puritty and Sanders and Lewis didn't need his big brother to avenge those defeats, he did it himself.

And as for Lewis being a cheat, Vitali is the proven steroid user.

He wouldn't need a brother to defeat Sanders since he didn't fight south paws in the 1st place. :yep

Like Lewis who avoided southpaws at all costs (including giving up his belt)? Wlad fought and defeated more southpaw HW champs than any other boxer in history.

Bob the Zagreb grocer went life and death so I suspect south paw Sanders would have wrecked that glass chin. In fact, defo!

On what basis if the punches causing the injury weren't clean punches and the supposed winner was behind on all the cards? I dispute the decision. I know Vit didn't at the time, but I bet he's never even watched it back. Clear as day Lewis was breaching at least two and maybe three WBC rules throughout the fight, breaches that led to the stoppage. It's not a win Lewis should take much credit from, in my view, and certainly does not give him the right to say he's a better fighter. Cheats do win though.

Please tell us all which rules state you are not allowed to punch Vitali in the face.

You are not allowed to thumb the opponent which Lewis blatantly did. Everyone barring most rabid Vitali haters knows that Vitali was robbed of TD6 win in that fight.

Lewis must have some pretty powerful thumbs to do that much damage with them.

Seriously though, Lewis won that fight fair and square and it's hilarious how you Klit fans can call Lewis a cheat based on a legit win when Vitali is proven steroid user and Wlad's extremely dangerous, malicious and illegal tactics of hitting and holding and putting opponents in head locks while he elbows them in the back of the head would not be tolerated anywhere outside of Germany.

    Idiot,

Lewis broke these WBC rules throughout the fight. The eye was opened via breaking rule #16 and #17. Clear as day. That means TD Vitali in any other fight, or a DQ of the perpetrator, Lewis. He also breached #13 throughout the fight, illegally.

    Taken from WBC RULE BOOK:

    13. Excessive holding the opponent or maintaining a clinch.
    16. Holding the opponent’s head or body with one hand while hitting with
    the other.
    17. Using the open hand to position or rub the glove on the opponent’s
    face.
