What fighters do you hate?

I used to hate plenty of fighters but being on here and reading posts about what it takes or whats at risk or reading posts from ppl who really box its becoming seemingly more childish in my opinion to hate any fighter

there are guys i dont root for but hate, i dont think i hate any boxers anymore, i can still find the time to praise or say a fighter i dont root for or particularly like did something worthy of praise

 

I actually hate the fans not the fighters.

 

:deal not to mention the guy is the most blatant drug cheat in sports along with Lance Armstrong Ben Johnstone and Alistair Overeem

 

There are a few for whom the respect due most anyone (most anyone) who sets foot between the ropes becomes null and void.

Chronic rule-bending filth-mongers like Gevor and Lazarte (who don't simply use a particular dirty tactic here and there for strategic purposes like a Mares or Holyfield, but actually routinely endanger the lives of opponents or elderly officials with their blatant and innumerable violently illicit actions), brutal pimping thugs like Stevenson ("reformed" and "debt to society paid" or not), and child gang-rapists like Morel (tried & convicted, slap on the wrist served) are in that select company.

 

Why do you hate Briggs, he seemed like a cool dude.

 

Kabary Salem was also a chronic rulebender, even killed a guy with his constant headbutting.

 

Oh yeah, complete and utter twat. He can join the aforementioned in the get-hit-by-a-bus club.

I hate a lot of them as fighters and others as human beings, but there are only a few that fit both of those categories. The first guy that comes to mind is Cintron.

 

Broner seems to be trying very hard to get me to hate him.

 

:deal I try not to have such negative emotions about athletes, particularly boxers who risk their lives. I might root against an a-hole like Amir Khan, but harbor no personal ill will towards him as a person.

However, some boxers cross deeply held legal and moral lines. I'll hate a child ******, woman beating pimp, etc. all day.

 

Only keyboard warriors who pillory fighters and never fought a day in their lives.

 

...except you can't possibly make that blanket assessment of the entire user base of the forum, which as it happens does include many who train & compete at both the pro & am level.

Why don't you go ahead and parade out the tired old "It is not the critic who counts" platitude while you're at it.
