Was the portrayal of Tszyu in the Johnny Lewis biography accurate?

It sounds like a lot of people have had personal contact with him in this thread. Does anybody have any stories of meeting him, that'd be interesting!?

There was talk of Oscar v Kostya at 140 but the yanks knew very little about KT. The debacle against Mas did'nt improve the situation. Oscar spent little time at 140 and landed the fight with Sweetpea at 147, which turned him into a superstar and a mega money fighter.
There has always been talk of the fighters who ducked 140 to avoid KT but all the money was at 147. After the Phillips fight it took KT a couple of years to be considered a drawcard in the states by then 147 was the money division. IMO.

 

Kostya does drink, He lost twice and the loss against Hatton he gave him his respect and dues...

Dunno how people can question Kostyas career, one of the greats.

The only knock you could put on him is not moving up to welter but in saying that full credit for cleaning out the 140lb division. A Gatti fight would of been fun to watch but KT would of won that.

I met Kostya at Crewfighter and the dinner afterwards. Kostya was pure class the whole day. The dinner was a top night with plenty of bevvies flowing. I have a picture of Kostya and I dancing which is an awesome keep sake!

Can anyone else vouch for Tszyu and Ty both being 5'7. It would be good if we could put this urban legend to bed.

Anyone who was at that Tszyu dinner who might have noticed them both standing close to each other and made a note of their respective heights. Lets put this legend to bed and end it once and for all.
