Throwback Money: We been ready for the Pac fight! Heres my outfit

This is suppose to be a year old, I never seen it htough. Floyd shows off most of his boxing gear, and even shows what outfit he was going to fight Pacin. Eventually he fought Ortiz with it on.

I remember this. This is soooo overlooked or dismissed by *******s. Mayweather ultimately wore that same fight outfit for the Ortiz fight.

So he pulled out an outfit and claimed it was made specifically for the Pac fight...big deal. What I'd rather see is actual evidence that he tired to make it happen...phone transcripts, emails, whatever...who gives a **** about some shorts...

...Pac-Mayweather will forever be a "what if", but the bottom line about the whole thing is, it was ****ed up on both sides. They both let us down.

 

Err, yeah, having an outfit concretely proves he was ready to fight Pacquiao. You have a halloween (which is in October) themed costume for a fight that was supposed to happen in March? Yeah, makes sense, Floyd.

SO what there are tons of fights through history that were "what ifs" and there will be fights that are "what ifs" in the future....

The emails reported by Hauser from Manny's camp. Manny crying about deadlines to testing instead of just accepting full USADA testing like everyone else, Bob arum and his no fight because he needs to build a stadium excuse, and etc. Isn't enough for mrtony and Rico to realize the reluctance for the fight was coming from Manny's side.

 

I don't think any fight in boxing history shouldn't be a "what if" as much as Pac-Mayweather...it'll probably be a very long time before we see a fight that clamored for by the masses. That fight not happening in '09, '10, '11 is the biggest blunder in boxing history, imo...

The reluctance was on both sides. I've softened on my views on FMJ over the years, and gravitated towards Pac's side being more to blame, but FMJ doesn't get away scot-free. I think at a time, he was very concerned with losing his 0 to Pac...I think he saw something in Pac (other than the ped accusations) that gave him some serious concern. Maybe he even thought there was a good chance he'd get robbed, who knows, but I think that at this point, *******s and *****s alike should come to the realization that the real loser in the whole saga was us...the fans.

 

the famous date was another 1. bob said pac couldnt fight on the date floyd wanted because pac fugged up his lip vs magarito. bob said it would take 5-6 months for it to heal. then, marquezs name came up i believe. and bob goes he could fight him on the same date floyd wanted.atsch bob is 1 senile mofo :deal
