    Ward and Dirrell were both 168 lbe'rs and I Didn't see anyone picking AA to beat them at the time ,

    Yes Proska would batter Soliman IMO never mind Sturm he us shite mate ,

    Mundine fought two top five super middles around that era and got KTFO by one and was
    beaten by another who was injured .

    I agree that Mundine chin is not complete glass as some would like to believe and remember he was only in his 10th pro fight up against a titlist (albeit one of the worst). Echols on the other hand had been in surgery for a bullet in his leg not long before the Mundine fight, it was careful pick from Mundine's team that worked.

    Agreed, Ward and Dirrell were outsiders but all that was talked up was Abraham's power and if it would carry through up to 168. Froch and Kessler were more the favourites heading in, hell even Allan Green had more chance that Abraham.

    You do realise the Ottke fight was 2001 right mate ...... I said he was a top tier 168lb fighter between 2004 - 2007

    Whether Kessler was injured or not, you step into the ring there are no excuses, it's not Mundines fault if Kessler was injured. Apparently Danny Green was dehydrated..... so what, you step inside and it's game on.

    BTW Josey what constuites a top tier fighter???? Top 2, 5, 10 or 20?

    Do you consider Danny Green or Marcus Beyer as top tier fighters at 168lbs at the same time?

    Agree with this, Geale has not been in with a true puncher yet...

    Unfair comparison, Cotto was weight drained IMO and coming off getting smashed with plaster...

    Agree with this after watching a few Proska fights on youtube before the GGG beating, Proska was awkward and dangerous with power...

    And Golovkin hasn't been in the ring with a world class fighter AT ALL, let alone a true puncher.

    The weight drain argument is rubbish. His previous two fights had all been within 2 pounds of that weight and the Margarito fight was over a year before that fight.

    Proska is world class and a bigger puncher than anyone Geale has faced...

    Yes I realise it was 01 Kel and I rate the four major belt holders as the top tier fighters in their divisions so in Beyers case yes , tell me Kel who did Mundine beat to warrant top tier rating circa 04-07 ?

    The fact is that he was fighting less than 2 pounds from that weight in his last three fights completely destroys that theory. The argument that he was drained is baseless and is commonly used by Mayweather fans. There is no legitimacy to that claim.

    Mate, even the most staunch Golovkin fans do not claim Proksa is world class. A guy who loses to Kerry Hope and has no idea what the word "defense" means is not world class. You seem to think that if someone is a big puncher that makes them world class. I repeat for you: Styles make fights!

    I'll say it again: STYLES MAKE FIGHTS. Proksa's style is very awkward, especially to someone like Sylvester who has a poor workrate. I myself predicted a KO although in the later rounds.

    Yes. He's held his own in the ring against very good fighters, beaten some, lost to some and he's a former world champion.
