Pac footwork and speed would give trouble to even younger Oscar. I think that even the drained to death Oscar was going to do pretty good against the semi-shot Malinaggi of today. I would say Oscar close UD.

if he was that terribly drained where he can't absorb anything through his GI, his electrolytes would have been so way out of whack that where they (his camp or nsac) wouldn't have let him fight.

i'm sure there are people around oscar that would've warned him about the risk of fighting while severely dehydrated.

Delahoya was drained vs Pac, but he still went 8 rounds with Pac, and a Prime Pacquaio at that.

Now Im a fan of Paulie, good fighter but he has little power and Pac only managed to get Oscars eye looking like this after 8 rounds of constant pummeling

Note this fight was stopped by the corner, not the ref so I think its safe to say that a Paulie fight goes the distance unless Delahoya stops Paulie (which in all fairness isnt out of the question)

Now you got Paulie, a guy who's power doesnt get that much respect minus his surprise stoppage over Senchenko . . . . its a surprise when Paulie stops anyone but he seems to have considerable more power at 147 but not enough to stop Delahoya

Delahoya also came into the Pac fight at 145 as per agreed as the catchweight, if he was fighting Malignaggi who weighs the full 147 lbs then he wouldnt have killed himself to make the weight so its safe to say he comes in slightly better condition

Also Paulie has never fought anyone the size of Delahoya who was once a Middleweight champion, all be it a small one.

I think its safe to say the current Mallignaggi who was lucky enough to get a win over Cano doesnt beat Delahoya despite being slightly drained and it goes to the scorecards with Delahoya winning in margins of 118-110 to 116-112, however if were talking Paulie slightly removed from the Khan fight then yeah hes in with a chance to get a SD.

Paulie doesnt have the power to bother Oscar, its as simple as that. no shame in it

I could find nothing on a rehydration clause Roach claimed Oscar waited to long to Rehydrate but why go down to 145 when you can cut to 147 and rehydrate into the 150s
