He doesn't rely on it per se, but Floyd's athleticism/reflexes have played a tremendous factor in his dominance as well for the majority of his career. His near bulletproof technique and skill level are what will see him competing at a high level for pretty much however long he really desires, in his case for another six fights/30 months. I wasn't counting on him fighting more than twice before he signed the Showtime deal. It's a beautiful thing, though. :deal

other than floyd getting paid...i don't really see what's the point of this fight.

floyd could/should have taken on a more competetive fight.

I'd be plenty impressed if Pacquiao were to tango with one of the 3 WW's who are at the moment better than he is.

Because he's the best available fight at WW...

Only ones who you could argue would be better:

JMM- lost by 13 points to Floyd already
    Bradley- Top Rank
Pacquiao- Top Rank; fresh off brutal KO

i would have much preferred a great skilled (notice how i describe floyd) fighter test his limits.

we both know that floyd is a ww that can fight at 154...and there good/great fighters willing to meet him there.

Doesn't change the fact that he's fighting one of the three best available at 147, and the best realistic one.

    ---

Chris John at 126 would be a better win for Donaire than Guillermo Rigondeaux at 122, but it doesn't take anything away from a possible Rigo win at 122.

Guerrero is a featerweight, that's why Void "The Woman Beater" chose him. He is not supposed to have a chance, otherwise Void would not fight him. Void refused to fight Alvarez, Trout, Pac, and I know he won't fight Marquez with steroids, with Marquez' new steroid expert strength trainer, and who is an expert at how to cheat drug tests. Void would lose that one also. However, I think that Guerrero will do better than most fans think. You never know, but I will not waste my time watching Void fight a featherweight. Void vs. Martinez would have sold out. Martinez said he would fight Void at 154, 150 and even try to get way down to 147, but Void still refused. Void is void. Void is a fraud now, way back in his younger years, except for the Castillo fight, which he lost and when he lost to Oscar, although Void's judges gave it a split decision to Void.................Void can't lose any fight period. He appears to always be guaranteed an win, so all Void has to do is be standing at the end of the fight, he will win even if he were to get knocked down in every round and nobody would say a thing.

Would see it as much of a mismatch as I see him against Floyd. Ghost is leagues and leagues below both Floyd and Manny's level.
