If, as wikipedia says, Stiverne's been WBC mandatory since June 2011 then why hell hasn't Vitali fought him yet?

Just as beating Haye or having ones brother beat Haye are not the same thing...

I think think you will find that Lewis didnt duck Vitali, he fought him and beat him - Then retired - How can that be a duck - Has Vitali ever fought Haye? No. If he retires fair enough, All credit to him, he knows when its time to retire better than anyone [as did Lewis] But if he carries on without fighting Haye, then that very well could constitue a genuine duck..

It's almost as if people assume that Wlad and Vitali are the same people. Just because Wlad beat Haye, it doesn't mean that Vitali has the right to dismiss him as well.

Haye brings more money than anyone else and also brings a far greater competitive fight than any Vitali opponent has in god knows how long.

It is clear as day that Haye is being ducked by Vitali.

People need to separate Wlad and Vitali in their mind when they discuss Haye in these type of discussions.

Klitschko fans defending Vitalis blatant duck by saying "he already got destroyed by Wlad" are embarassing.

Why say "we'll fight you if you beat Chisora" if he "doesn't deserve the fight in the first place"???

    This!!

The fact is that while David Haye was an undisputed CW champion, he blagged his way to a HW title fight with Valuev by slagging off the Klitschko's then pulling out of two fights with them!!

Haye beat Valuev, old man Ruiz, earned £5 million for fighting Audley Harrison. Then came his abject performance against Wlad. David further embarrassed himself and ruined any credibility he had by blaming his toe injury for his poor show ffs!!

He then beats Chisora (the same Chisora that Tyson Fury beat comfortably) and now he's back spouting the same old "The Klitschko's are ducking me" shite.

I hope Vitali-Haye is made, because it will be another opportunity for me to take a nice few quid off the bookies, because (imo) Vitali will still beat David but my guess is that Vitali will retire, David will get another payday against Wlad and I will again get good odds on the certainty that is another Wlad win over David.

Haye is my current favorite heavyweight but he won't beat Vitali.

No actually it's you who needs to seperate Wlad and Vitali when you discuss Haye in these type of discussions. Just because Haye fought Wlad (and got completely dominated) doesn't give him the right to fight Vitali. It's not tag team boxing for ffs.

Agreed. And since when did Vitali become Wladimir? Two different people.

Vitali's legacy is quitting on his stool, TKO6 and ducking Haye with a scattering of bums in between.

Haye's legacy is his mouth and two awful boring fights with Valuev and Wlad. Lets not forget Audley Harrison and John Ruiz. Oh, and Monte Barrett :rofl:patsch
